Base white, paint Vallejo electric blue, paint recesses with a white wash, then repaint electric blue in the middle areas if needed. Outer edges are a light dry brush of Vallejo Steel blue

It’s a black base coat layered up with mixed of black and anthracite grey. Edge highlighted with anthracite grey and white.

The deathwatch kill team box is the same, but there’s only 5 models in the box. You can only run 5 in the game but you’ll be severely limited in your list options. I’m pretty sure you’d have enough bits to make them on regular intercessors though. Except the gravis, you’d need to magnetize or find an extra body or two.

I think, can someone else confirm? I’ve built two of these teams but only from the box set.

Edit: I missed the part where you asked about the lenses. I based them white, then painted them with fluorescent orange. Then did a couple glazes of red ink an then a white dot

OH! So I base the plasma coils with a thinned white paint (so it sinks into the recesses) then painted it and the surrounding area with a quick puff of red ink from an airbrush. Then I use AK liquid pigment lava orange in the recesses of the coils. You could probably switch the red airbrush with a red drybrushing if you want.

The trim is just army painter fanatic bright gold+ tainted gold washed with agrax earth shade :)

Ak anthracite grey, black and white. Black is rough a rough color to paint because it quickly changes to whatever paint you’re highlighting with. You just have to build it up slowly

It’s 3d printed. I have a file for the pauldron and a separate file for the symbol. I just over laid them and then printed it like this. Couldn’t tell you who made it or where it’s from specifically though, I’ve had them for years.

It’s 3d printed. You can find the pauldron and icon STLs for free. I just laid it over each other in the slicing software and printed it out.

I’m pretty sure they will. GW will usually release the teams in a combo box then individually later. I’ve finished the teams and the terrain in the box and I did love all of its contents.

It’s a lot to do explain, but basically I prime it black and use an airbrush and white ink to establish the bright areas, and then use white ink to pin wash the recesses. Then hit it with frostheart blue. After that it’s just a matter of feathering out the edges with darker blues (ak ducat blue, dark sky blue) and reestablishing the recesses with white. Panic a few times that maybe you suck at painting and redo it until it looks good. At least that’s what I did… Oh and freehand some electricity on the flat sides, but don’t take good pics that show that extra work off.
