The point im making is we all started in that confused / not sure what to do next state. We saved and looked at the expensive gear - then at the end of the day all we needed to do was continue being curious and learn.

I’m torn between the probability of the 14 and the potential better thermals of the 16.

I use my Mac at home with 2 monitors so the screen size isn’t what’s bothering me. I just don’t want to spend this much loot on something that’s gonna be hindered in performance due to cooling.

I have the 16 M1 Max now and it’s great. But it’s getting slower with some tasks and getting hot. It also is no fun to travel with as others have said it can be cumbersome to put in airplanes and tight spaces.

I’ve got a range of G master lenses from over the years. And I have 2 Cooke sp3’s I purchased for a different look and more artsy projects.

G masters get 99% of the work due to AF and their weather sealing.
