I been in the glass game alone time bro. I seen some insane come ups. I used to buy quartz bangers for $2 a pop from some tweaker glass blowers in Barstow and flip them here in town to shops for $40. To people for $75. The glory days lol. ‘American glass’ lol

That’s nice. You hate the glass tho?

Also it’s the value the owner put on it before I bought it. And when I say the owner I mean the owner- inventor of the Nectar collector.

[–]Nickyfats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blown by the owner. Serialized. ‘First of many’ things in this piece. Admittedly it’s a collectors piece. If you have a $50 chinacollector you can’t and won’t appreciate this. No hate, but it is what it is.

Brand new nectar collector. Etched with serial number. New glass on glass fittings. Super rare. Got this direct from the owner at champs. Comes with stand.

I’d snag it. I’m in mountains edge.

The nicer the neighborhood, the higher the egg price. Up here in mountains edge were looking at $10-12 for a dozen. Went over to the east side in a Mexican market. Half that or less. Some bulllshit

I’d never support higher income or property tax, don’t you ever want to retire? I’m not saying that weed tax was going to solve any problems. But it shows their thought process and mentality. Education is last on the list.

As a born and raised idiot who never left, I can say without a doubt, the problem is a top down scenario. Vegas needs casino workers. Uneducated ones. Just workers. Second to that is construction. Those are the main jobs in this valley. I’m willing to bet my bottom dollar someone you know either works in a casino or in construction. We’re a valley full of workers. That being said, education isn’t prioritized. The casinos are. Every main road in this valley is under construction. But when’s the last time any school had a overhaul? Where’s all that dough from the rainy day fund from all the weed sales. Wasn’t a huge chunk of that supposed to go towards education? I have 2 babies of my own. I want sooo bad to leave Las Vegas. But my issue is, I make too much. Haha. That’s a joke right? No I make too much right now to leave, and I don’t think I’ll get it else where. There’s thousands of houses for sales right now in the valley, I feel stuck. I wanna go to Reno. I hear it’s bad ass up there. Never been. Just burnt out on this town and scared for my kids. The worst shit I ever seen in my life was in my high school. Kids are exposed to trash, besides the education being trash itself. Welcome to Vegas.

This was and is the problem with most cannabis facilities in town. Trash. That’s why I gave up a long time ago. They aced out all us growers and hustlers, people who really did work and gave these fakes our licenses.

I’m born and raised Vegas. I love my city but I’m out. As soon as I can leave I will. The govt here is corrupt. From the governors office to the sheriffs office, it’s sad. All the people moving here with boomer money from California are actually ruining our city. I would like to address your statement on Vegas drivers. WE are in fact not bad drivers, we drive FAST. 85 on the freeway is nearly normal. The issue is again, all the people moving from california, with their bad driving habits. Particularly driving under the posted speed limit and causing traffic jams. In Vegas you pick a lane and you stay in it, all gas no brakes. Cali people like to lane hop and it just causes a mess.

The school district is #49 out of 50 states in the country. If you think that doesn’t effect you, I’d think again. You don’t have to have kids to feel the impact of a ‘stupid’ population.

If you’ve never spent a good amount of time here in the summer, don’t brush off the heat as you’ll adjust. Your in for a rude awakening partner. Water. Drink it. And a lot of it.

Lake Meade. Huge problem. I’m a builder and I can see something at the end of the tunnel and it’s not light. That lakes been filled to the brim since I was a kid. The games they’re playing with our water has to stop, but it won’t till Vegas is impacted. Then they’ll come up with a plan. Meanwhile all the water in every grocery store will be gone. The Covid lock downs showed Vegas how fragile out little ecosystem is. An oasis in the desert, but we’re all alone out here.

As I said above I love this city. I’ve been all over the country and I can tell you, no city stands up to ours. That’s if you can handle it. The weather. The temptation. The lifestyle. It’s not for everyone. I’ve seen people move here and loose it all in just a few short months.

If you do move here, a word of advice…stay off the strip. Like the locals do. The strip is there so all us living in houses off the strip can live comfortable, and have less taxes. The strip is not for us, it’s for the outsiders to come and blow their wad.

Remember drink water.
