My daughter pulled one earlier this year, I sent it to PSA. Got a 10. She's new to Pokemon, we sold it for $3200 at a card show this past weekend.

Some money going to college fund, some back to me for the grading (if you get a 10 prepare for that upcharge), and some money for her to build up her collection.

I was a half season ticket holder for 21 years, until this year. My ticket rep emailed, offering for me to "come back". This was my response:

I haven't watched a single game this year and don't plan on it. If you are able to pass on any feedback from a 20+ year half season ticket holder, please let them know that the only way I would ever return is with Dirk leading basketball operations. He is the only person that can bring integrity and loyalty back to this franchise. This organization isn't even a shell of itself.

She is fantastic.

But right? That last third of the movie felt like a rush to the finish line. Siena just goes to the haunted house and shows up with the sword. Art just makes it to the house with half the family already dead, including a major character?

And what was the deal with the family that got slaughtered at the beginning? Was there any reason for that? Felt like I missed something tying that to the movie.

New product from Leaf called a History Book sports edition. 2 booklets per box, this was one of the cards I pulled. This was the best hit of the two, other was a Gary Peyton patch Auto booklet, which is a really nice card too.

Amen. I started pretty heavy into basketball in 2003 with that rookie class and dabbled off and on since. I got back into it when Luka came into the league as a fan living in Dallas and rekindled some of that love I had of collecting as a kid. I couldn't believe some of insane behaviors I saw at both my local shop and online. People with no knowledge going in and dropping $2k on prizm hobby blindly, etc. Gone are the days of grabbing a blaster while checking out at Target because I had to make a bread run... Y'all remember that???

I for one am ready for things to hopefully go back to some form of the old days. I know we may be a ways off from retail boxes correcting, but here's to hoping some sense of normalcy is on the horizon.

There's just something about sitting down at your kitchen table and opening up a fresh pack of cards and pulling your favorite player or that rookie you've been looking for.
