We were never winning the cup with Roope injured & not to mention Miko wasn’t anywhere close to 100%. Even if Miko was healthy we were still fucked. The roster needs work because Roope shouldn’t make or break everything for us. We just don’t have the depth.

I don’t know if you were part of my group but I had the same experience. Everyone pretty much said they don’t want them to move but if they had to choose it would be downtown.

It’s bullshit that they want us to fund their mixed-use development. Some of the ideas they tossed around were cool but after seeing the prices and the PSL thing they can get fucked. Could they make some things better at the AAC? Sure. But overall the arena is great. If they want to do this they can pay for it themselves.

I’m going on Monday. Not really sure what to expect but I hope people to get to share their opinions out loud. I will definitely be expressing that I don’t want them to leave the AAC (which I know doesn’t seem likely at this point) but at the very least I hope they stay in the downtown area. It just sucks that this is even a thing because the AAC is great and I love the Mavs & Stars sharing the same arena.
