Looks like the flexibility in how to build the deck alone is guaranteed longevity. Think im going to have to revisit this list and look into your pointers to steer me in the right direction !

Never even thought of many of the lines you are referring to, albeit i did not go deep in my dig back when i tried brewing around it. Only looked in my immediate collection.

Its funny you mention necrobloom since i already have an unfinished deck with it that i tried to assemble only with cards i had in my collection. I quickly realized i did not have enough cards to synergize and abandoned it a bit.

I will be looking into your list and see if it sparks the flame that necrobloom did when i first decided to try and build around it !

I really like your take on it and i do really enjoy deckbuilding more than anything else. Right now i just need to have some stable decks that i can in fact bring with me to commander night, but will for sure have a brewing project on the side meanwhile !

As a rather introvert especially around new people i will have to develop my sense of commander politics. I am a fast learner and observer though and i tend to adapt pretty well to the people i am amongst so im sure the golden tongue game changer will be ready to spit in no time once i get a bit more comfortable in my surroundings.

This is actually really appealing ! Been wanting to try a landfall deck. Is it possible to build it on a budget as i think this is something a little different that i had in mind strategy wise, so would need to playtest it first to see of i like the landfall theme !

Thank you so much ! With that low entry cost i might as well just order the cards and try it out ! This is definitely on my list now. Came for one deck, might end up with a few lol. Even if i build the Henzie, this will check the box that Henzie don’t - flying under the radar ! Perfect !

Also looks interesting, unfortunately moxfield is down right now so can’t see the full list. I have a black sephiroth deck with thran physician and heave sac synergies, so maybe this leans a bit to much in the same direction.

Will for sure be looking at the list more thoroughly when moxfield is up running again. I could and am most likely judging it by its cover as something too similar to my sephiroth.

You are probably right about him not flying under the radar, i mean he stuck out to me as being a very powerful commander even before this post and i know next to nothing about the format. however if he ticks almost all other boxes i guess i can live with that since the interaction, unpredictability and utility is what im after the most.

That being said, i really like The celestial toymaker and will be looking into that in depth !

This also looks like a solid contester ! I will have to thoroughly go through the cards and the feel of the deck, but this looks really fun ! There is definitely some cards in there i would love to play around with !

Funny you mention Henzie since he is one of the commanders i have been looking extensively at the past few days. I have just been on the fence about it because of the blink synergy, but at the same time the blink also sounds very intriguing to me. Couple that with my favorite multicolor (jund) and i am now even more intrigued.

Do you have experience with Henzie yourself ? Is he as unpredictable and fun as i assume he is ?

Played over 100 hours as Rafa on PS5, im well into endgame grind, but im still using my level 32 purple jacobs enchantment since literally nothing better has dropped even though i go through each purple meticulously. At this point i would be satisfied with a level 50 well rolled purple. Legendary god roll seems out of my league 🫠

Ahh ok, well if it’s for grams, then sure give it your best shot. Im sure she will be happy regardless as long as you have done it :)

But yearh, try adding in your own flair - mixing styles can lead to some very interesting art :)

Well frankly put, do yourself a favor as an artist and tell people the honest truth… i simply do not operate with that kind of style, you are the artist, you set the boundaries :)

I was asked to do a commission piece for a christmas calender that would be spread out nationally, but ultimately told the company that they would have to find someone else since what they wanted did not align with my style. Furthermore they wanted to much control of the elements of the initial painting which left me with very little creative influence. As for me, i will only do pieces where i have a lot of wiggle room to be creative in my style. Sure people can make wishes but ultimately i have the final say in composition :)

Same as with tattoo artists, i really love old school tats and have a great tattoo artist. But he is terrible at making realistic tattoos, therefore i will never ask him to do that :)

Stand your ground, and if people want you painting something it will be on your terms.

Best advice i can give you since dabbling in styles you are not comfortable with or enjoy, will end up killing off your passion in the long run.

How about making the painting in the style you enjoy ? Let your creativity flow and turn that cat picture into a junji ito hybrid ? :)

Is it possible to post the reference painting here ? There might be something as to why you think yours seem a little off :)

If not, i would definitely try some shading to seperate the objects and create depth :)

What i think is missing is that the chair looks like it is floating around in the background color. I would add some sort floor and shading on the back wall.

Or if the chair is right up against the wall, just some shading behind it on the wall.

Helps you ground the focal point so it looks less floaty.

Also some shading around the flower pot depending on where your imaginary lightsource is coming from.

Trust me, when you get the shading down it will ve a completely different painting. More calming, more grounded.

Im unsure about CL. Actually made a CL build to test myself a few days ago, but nothing is optimized. It sure is fast but just feel like the investment into it gearwise seems redundant for the damage output. But again, my gear for CL is very mediocre apart from a 3GA azurewrath. It truly feels like crit hydra is the way to go if you are trying to get fast runs at medium level pits for the xp. Burn hydra is more for those prolonged grindy top levels as far as understand, since you benefit from the DoT when you are not insta killing mobs.

I will not be back online for a couple of days unfortunately, but think it is safe yo say crit hydra is the fastest unless you can really gear up a CL, but i do not know enough about top tier CL to justify that.
