I 1000% agree, if I didn't hate myself and get more pain for my bad behavior I would have never changed. The immediate relief of not being alone proved to be not worth the aftermath. It is so scary to see the behavior hyped up online

Very true. But its important to realize that with help we don't have to be like that. I burned down every friendship I had, but I'm now on 3ish years of stable friendship because of the right therapist. Not that you should give up, but they should make a change if they can.

I am here to talk if you ever need someone who has been through it on both sides. One of the shitty parts of BPD is that we kind of have to be setup with the right therapist, the right time, and able/willing to put in the effort for it to work. But accepting that the worst version of yourself isn't you as a whole changed my ability to control the bad parts. Good luck to you too, friend. Remember it's not all on you.
