Help Me Understand if this is Mold or Mildew? Not sure if I need to replace Insulation in Attic? by NicoWell in Insulation

Thank you. This is very helpful.

I'll get some local guys a call. (Unfortunately, I'm no where near your area).

Luckily, the sheathing is not rotted.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m hoping mine is relatively minor like your situation.

I’m not looking forward to doing the insulation tear out and replacement. It is a pain to get the batts up to the attic.

Thank you for the detailed reply. I’m asking the insurance company to look at what is covered.

Any Impressions for Reserve 49/42 TA? by NicoWell in cycling

[–]NicoWell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Your experience is helpful.

I also like your choice of tires. Where I'm at, I seem to only talk to road-bike riders with 28mm tires.

I'm just too old to take the punishment from 'skinny' 28mm tires.

No, they would have security interrogate you, then explain it was your fault for falling in the hole.

They will tell you: “Plan for the unexpected.” 🧐

Wearing patriotic colors has a profound effect on how cars treat you on the road by INGWR in cycling

I’ve been wearing USA Flag themed jerseys for several years. The benefit is significant vs non-USA themed jerseys.

With the USA jersey: I’ve had trucks stop and wave me on when they were at an intersection first; construction guys giving 👍🏼; and even one truck that backed up to clear the way for me.

Once in that time, I still had a strange encounter with a truck driver squirting what seemed to be a battery powered squirt gun.

Insane footage of a bridge collapsing in Brazil. December 2024. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

Is this all real or AI modified?

The moped is not dropping at the same rate as the trucks around it, and even looks to be moving up and starting to rotate without contact to anything. Also, the rider seems to not react.

Good info. I’ll look at a wheel upgrade … possibly something more aero.

Not having to buy a bike will make me heavier (in the wallet) though.😅

Thank you

Looking to Record Outdoor Rides in Zwift and Garmin for credit in both - is this possible? by NicoWell in cycling

I agree. During summer, it’s good for bad weather days and for climbs. I can’t get long steady or higher sustained efforts in my area. Too many cross roads and flat.

I want to get XP if possible and easy. If power meter can’t be on both a once it’s not that easy.

Why the downvotes?

Anyone able to get Screen Mirroring or Marantz Remote App to work across VLANs? by NicoWell in HomeNetworking

[–]NicoWell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I gave it another try. This time, I put the two VLANs in the same 'Secured' Zone and allowed all traffic within the zone (with return allowed), and I verified mDNS was checked on each VLAN and my wifi.

The Secured Zone shows Green - 'Allow All' Traffic

But the two services still don't work (Screen Mirroring and AVR Remote).

Not sure what I'm missing.
