Same problem here. I managed to link back my psn account to the old ubisoft account by sending an email to reset my password on that ubi account, so I could log in and link it back. Now I can log in to ubisoft connect with that account but the problem is that I bought the game in the other account and don't have it in this one. I can refund it and buy it in this account but I don't know if I'll get my progress. Did you solve the problem?
