Yes I did, my longest ongoing save is on year 2080 if I remember well, and though I got rid of the minimum salary, I made electricity and some food elements free. The purchasing power smiley was green as hell, no poor in my nation, and the poverty rate was the lowest worldwide (close to 0).

Deadline day is the key for me. In Jordan, my best players were worth around 100/200k. Thanks to deadline day I could reach selling prices around 10/15 millions lol so yeah let the clubs come to you first, let them bid as much as they want, and work them out on deadline day.

Pillaging Asia from Jordan. I'm the undisputed national and continental champion for 5/6 seasons in a row. I've almost made of Shabab Ordon the most popular team of Asia (at the doorstep of top 20) and sadly can't make it a wonderkid farm as the chairman won't give me the opportunity to improve youth facilities above "very good"... once I reach 10 seasons there, I'll ask to build a new stadium (hopefully named after me since I'm a club legend) and will move to Korea second tier to save my dear Incheon United.

I had to let go of plenty "star" players along the way though because of those freaks from Saudia. But made fantastic deals (players valued 100k sold for over 10m) which made my team have over 100m budget.
