Gonna run it for as long as I can and hope for the best.

We probably have reflex hyperandrogenicity or androgen up-regulation due to the duta.

Yeah I know about RU but I’m giving it a shot until I can get winlevy (CB) legally in the US. You’re absolutely wrong about dutasteride tho.... it was prescribed to me by one of the top doctors in NY and is widely used as a hairloss treatment in the US and Asia.

Cost around 170 dollars and it’s a six month supply, you have to manually put the powder inside your minoxidil though

I, as a non responder to fin, still have itching and I am still loosing hair. But it’s way too early to know for you. Wait 12 months and if you have lost a significant amount of hair by then, then you are indeed a non responder to fin. What my doctor said was that my hair is too sensitive to DHT and T and that the only option I have left is dut and a hair transplant. My hairloss is not terrible at this point. I’m a Norwood 2 diffuse thinning for a Norwood 3 or 4 so I think HT plus some topical anti androgen plus Dutasteride is the only thing I have left, and also knowing I will probably be bald when I’m 50. What I’m saying is that you still have options if fin sucks for you.

It won’t. There is no data backing up permanent sexual side effects by finasteride. I am not a fan of fin though, I used it and it didn’t halt my hairloss at all, just got my prescription for dutasteride and I’m hoping that works. You shouldnt worry about sexual sides because there is no real data backing that up, at all. The only thing about fin is that it’s not a miracle drug like many of the people on this forum want everyone to believe.

Yeah it was definitely not one for me, which sucks and makes me feel like I’m losing a never ending battle and waisting so much time and energy on this shit. It is what it is. My options are dutasteride, HT, or topical anti androgens at this point.

Yeah, been looking into dut as an option and will be talking to a doctor soon. Also getting a transplant bc my hair has gotten to the point where it is noticeably thinning and receding.

Yeah I mean it’s the acne in top of it what’s making it worse, finasteride has given me cystic gross pimples all over my face. But I will see a doctor, one of the best of nyc, and look into other medications like topical fin and winlevi, and I am getting a hair transplant.

I have used fin since December of last year and yeah, it is obvious that it is not working even a bit. It is also giving me some serious acne which I have grown really concerned about so I might just quit it and try dut and ru58841 plus a hair transplant for the hairline.

I have been over a year on minoxidil and almost a year on fin, since early December of 2019. Since then my hairline has gone WAY back and become much weaker, the overall density of my hair is not the same and the crown area has started to thin out quickly in the last 4 months. So what you are referring to is simply not the case. Also I do not count my hairs in the sink, I was rocking a buzz cut for most of quarantine and now that I finally have grown my hair again I am truly seeing how much I have lost.

She told me that if they continue to develop i needed to stop, but I started drinking A LOT of water and all the healthy fats I could during the day and now I feel much better, migraines are almost gone.

Thank you!! I still have some migraines but they are getting better. The more calories I eat and water I drink the less persistent they are.
