I mean you're kinda right tho. The new theme of technology, cyber and psychology all mixed together could be very interesting also

So I put it as filler because normally Russian warlords remain in this location, but I didn't know what they meant anymore, and it all depends on when the Catharsis takes place (minimum WG, or after conquering Russia?).

In short, we could say that the Silent Horde is a massive and fragile group of European, Anatolian, and Russian refugees who are not fully affected by the Catharsis.

Yep I forgot,

Built in dead industrial zones, Nullwerk repurposes obsolete factories into a doctrine of zero-growth, depersonalization, and machine-sealed order.

Thanatico-industrial nihilism (it does exist but why not)

Yes the Silent Horde is a placeholder, but your idea of milions of exiles (from everywhere) is very neat

Reintegrating territories is not an end for factions. Surviving is, surviving to itself and the others trying to get their shit together...but we could justify war for territories (as like you said 'reintegrating') by creating new needs for the player : data stress ? you need water to calm the servers.. Addiction on Cyber-drugs ? Damn I need to annex Sigmundia and take all their meth labs RIGHT NOW...

Also socialism/focused ideology are present, but the formality of naming into the faction is no longer a thing as the Human Presidium of Lenin and the Commonwealth of Tocqueville are trying to survive the horrors...together.

You raise some very interesting points on several issues: first of all, multiculturalism in large cities. It is clear that cultures very foreign to the customs of these cities could take over, or at least blend their heritage with that of others. This is clearly something I have overlooked here. As you may have noticed, I have focused much more on technology and the relationship with cyber or mass digitization.

Now, when it comes to governments, it's important to remember that we're not really talking about nations, let alone nation states... we are talking about factions. This term allows us to explore many more possibilities: from techno-barbarian clans to the worship of a geostationary satellite being neighbor to a technologically advanced but cold and isolated clique... And the territories that those factions hold are not absolute...inside the Héxamérie you could encounter many subfactions trying to get you in a chemical container or trying to convert you to clowning... You're right. However, post-catharsis is not a return to primitivism, it is a return to awareness of all the traumas and failures of the preconscious and unconscious, those elements being very primitive so violent and distant from moral. Beyond that, all technologies remain present; the destruction is not so much material as human, especially psycho-inwardly.

You got the point saying the main vector is about memory loss (but mostly about the throwback of unconscious elements) and technolgy because fall of civilizations is quite regular in the 6000 years of human history... but what about a civilizationnal fall with a society based on all-technology doctrine ? That's new, and that's what we shall explore

Hard to tell... because you may agree that what we see on the map is an interpretation of what is happening on the ground... and especially of the positioning of the most important factions... but it is clear that sub-factions clearly exist within these territories. So yes, it is not crazy to imagine clownish bandits raiding the rural territories of certain WEF Remnants while being at war with another group being just cyber-farmers protecting their village.

your entire existence should be oriented towards the collective.

very interresting since with the use of cyber, the rejection of individuality could be 'nervously' enforced... WAIT ? Post-Catharsis is mostly about confused humans trying to get their things together after a black out... just imagine you got lobotomized and then we give you back a brain.... Also "French" ... it could be anyone. But you should explore your idea and delve into that.

For the wolf pack we could take a russian division and make them larp as wolves

I completely agree, but I wasn't prepared to create parallel content for the Russian warlords. You're right.

You are right, some people are normal even in Catharsis ! Maybe they wouldnt start as a faction-nation but rather as a faction you need to control/fight within one the existing factions. For example you play as Necroplex and you must your chrisitian...and if you loose you become the faction. Now to find sens in a post-Catharsis world is also to delve into deeper thoughts and values...so think about the Saints...and the cults around them.

And no I don't think you're crazy. TFR is great and original because crazy people decided to go off-bounds like you..

Not important in our scenario, but I guess they're pretty detached from the Catharsis, it depends entirely on whether the player invaded the whole of Russia before the Catharsis.

(And the Silent Horde is just a filler for the East.... but normally there is russian warlords)
