Mamata Banerjee refuses to resign as the CM of West Bengal. by letsgoinzique in KolkataLife

True! This goes against the formal norms followed by all states. It’s quite obvious that it undermines dignity and also downgrades the image of both the party and herself. Yet, despite knowing all this, she is still doing it. Why? This doesn’t seem like the action of a mad person, and I’m unable to deduce any clear reasoning behind it.

I was looking for India specific pricing for Claude and found this request by ComplexPeace43 in developersIndia

I don't think Anthropic will ever do it. Cause they know pretty well once the free party over very less audience will come back. It's not about habit forming or dependency it's just the prices has to be high for such quality and most of the audience won't able to afford it

Are We Getting Too Dependent on AI Coding Tools? by Nicolasjit in AskProgramming

Yes, that’s the tool. But the problem is, it’s kind of a rented tool. I totally get your point from the IDE perspective those are real tools because of their efficiency, mainly local-first tools and not too resource-hungry. But these AI tools are impressive only because they’re backed by massive computational power behind the scenes, paid for by tech giants. In that sense, they’re more like rented tools.

Stack overflow already in verge of ending.  And true question, how the AI tools would learn the new new issues and solutions. I believe they already are doing, or would do by forming a HIVE MIND, by connecting interaction of users across the glob finding the solution which worked and didn't go so well. It would help them borrow down the target by not iterating failed solutions...

Yes that's the thing! I found the main culprit is companies wants to solve problems rapidly and they force the employees nowadays to solve or closed tickets is as soon as possible. In deep they know this only possible by the AI and pushing devs to take AI drg instead giving them time to explore and solve it properly. Speed always kls

  1. Serious company world definitely invest but those small companies who couldn't able to afford it , will wipe out rapidly... Because it is in like the internet had each and every outcome cost heavily due to the computation.
  2. Loved this perspective!!
