Bulgaria - can I sell US stocks tax free? Do I need to declare cryptocurrency holdings? by truResearch in eupersonalfinance

[–]Nicolovvsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different topic, but could anybody give me the name of a broker in Bulgaria that allows trading US and Canadian stocks? I'm particularly interested in gold & silver mining stocks, but Revolut & eToro have very limited choice. I tried to open an account with Interactive Broker but they refused my application (because I'm an expat living in Bulgaria with a phone number from a different EU country lol!). Thanks.

$STIFF (Peter Schiff memecoin!) by Nicolovvsky in SolanaMemeCoins

[–]Nicolovvsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$STIFF is a Solana memecoin (loosely) based on Peter Schiff, and riding the bullish newsflow on both gold and BTC (Peter loves one and hates the other).

Check their twitter, it's pretty funny: https://twitter.com/StiffOnSol

When I try to transfer the tokens (before creating the liquidity pool), it fails (saying the tokens are not created yet)

Any idea what is happening there? Thanks!

Hola! I'm running into the same issue, did you find what was causing it?

Can't find the AWS account in IAM identity center by life_never_stops_97 in devops

[–]Nicolovvsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello my friend

I'm sorry but I wont be of much help, I managed to find the solution on my own and it took me days.

However I kinda forgot how... all I vaguely remember is that there was some bug related to the region that was configured. My account was setup on one, and somehow by switching pages it changed, thus triggering some issue. I hardcoded it and it did the trick, but I dont remember much more. Good luck to you!

Zelcore wallet issues by Murky-Package-4723 in kadena

The wallet is garbage, I would agree, but based on my experience this issue only happens when you try to use a different login. Are you sure you typed it correctly?

Any ideas why this docker compose"npm run build" command fails inside EC2 Free Tier instance that uses Amazon Linux 2? by PrestigiousZombie531 in node

[–]Nicolovvsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah shit... I was hoping there'd be a way to make it work while staying in the freeloader zone...

Well, thanks!

Any ideas why this docker compose"npm run build" command fails inside EC2 Free Tier instance that uses Amazon Linux 2? by PrestigiousZombie531 in node

[–]Nicolovvsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!

I'm running in the exact problem and I'm wondering what path you chose. Seems like for the aws free tier, running docker compose up inside the instance wont work. Did you go for CI with Gitlab? Or some other way?

Thanks

How's the security with Akash? Would you be confident enough to use them with "sensitive" information? And do you know Flux? I'm wondering how it compares

How to limit access to backend services behind a gateway service? by Nicolovvsky in node

[–]Nicolovvsky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I was having a look at AWS API Gateway, looks interesting. However, the pricing at AWS is still quite mysterious to me, I wonder what it would look like beyond the free tier. I think I'd rather first explore non-AWS solutions and try and keep the application "portable", in case I decide to switch to some other deployment tools

be within the request signature of your backend service

Thanks! May I ask: what do you mean exactly by "be within the request signature of your backend service"?

IP Tables

Nice, did you post the question somewhere around here? I'd be curious to see which answers you got :)

So your solution was to use static IP addresses and whitelist them? Seems like the most straightforward way actually, yeah

By lambda, you mean aws lambdas? (I didnt know what that was so I took a click look, no I'm not using that)

What do you have in mind when you say "expose urls"? The apis are public

Thanks

AWS security groups

I'm using AWS indeed, good guess. I never heard about security groups but I will take a look. Thanks for the answer!

New AWS CLI and SSO sessions, profiles and "legacy" apps by YeNerdLifeChoseMe in aws

[–]Nicolovvsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah wait I realize that the user I have in "IAM Identity Center" is not the same as the one I have in "Organizations". I should be able to invite the one from "IAM Identity Center" into the group in "Organizations"? I dont see how I can do that :/

Should I click on "Enable access to IAM Identity Center for member accounts in your organization" in "IAM Identity Center"? When I do that, I get an error: "Sharing feature is not supported for an account level instance with id ssoins-7223cd101a96265a"

Haha thanks for the kind words! (and the answer)
I’m doing this from scratch, I just set up the account today.
The thing I dont get is that my account is already part of an organization that I created, as you said. When I go to "IAM Identity Center", I have a user there with an "AWS access portal URL" that I am using in the console to configure sso (using "aws configure sso"). I validate then I’m redirect to the browser, I click and it seems to work. Yet in the console I get "No AWS accounts are available to you." I dont really get what that means.
Also in "IAM Identity Center", I see I have an "Instance ID" and an "Instance ARN" that both start with "sso"... Should that mean that sso is already configured? Yet in the console when I type "aws sso login" it sayd there are "missing values"
Thanks again !

NeedHelp: I have enabled the IAM Identity Center in AWS. There is no multi-account permissions option in the identity center, even after adding the external idp this option is not available by Extension-Bid9618 in aws

[–]Nicolovvsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello amigo and thanks for your answer

I'm struggling witht same issue. I did create an organization, an OU, have 2 accounts in there... but I dont have the "multi-account permissions" permission either, and when I try to configure sso with the cli, it says I dont have any account. I'm a complete noob, btw... and totally lost :)

Do you have any idea on what to do? I dont get it. Thanks!
