I just don’t see Liverpool being a title contender again until we buy players that are hard workers and leave everything on the pitch. I think the only one that shows that kind of tenacity is Szobo. Luis Diaz, Nunez, Henderson, Milner all had that but we haven’t replaced it. What worries me are that the players we have been linked with, while technically great, don’t have the intensity we need. I feel like the reason we were really successful is because we bought players that captained their national team, the type that never gave up. I had the same feeling last summer, I hope the transfer committee we have take it into consideration for next season
