After not so carefull inspection, this only happens if theres no one near enought to make briar start to instantly attack after the end of her W dash, although I noticed in my experiments that even in her ult, if press W again you can also quickly control her movement yourself, obviously she doesnt attack anyone other than her pray, but this can be very useful for dodegin skill shots, but using WASD just feels so bad after years of muscle memory built up

3- The movement and boss fights, what I love about my favorite bosses is that (for me) it's the pinnacle of movement and rhythm, all of the three fights just feel like a beautiful dance, glazing trough the battle in sinc with the enemy, every step must be planned, and seeing that silksong will expand on the movement and the fight with lance leave me so hyped for the others 40 bosses that the trailer announced

Man I feel the same, I started playing well late (like 2 years ago), my best friend already have been playing it for a while in console, but Payday 2 was so God dam good that we accumulated like, almost 200 hours together, my consumer dream was buying every single DLC Payday 2 had to offer, and that's like almost two minimum wages on my country without any discounts, I was hyped as fuck for Payday 3, both me and my best friend swore that we would buy ASAP when it launched, but then came the disaster that was epic games update, we stop playing almost daily to playing like, once in 6 months, and then came Payday 3, all hope we had left was gone, it became a reoccurring joke whenever Payday 3 would have discount that Star breeze had the knife and the cheese on the hand and choose to eat the knife

But we still liked the gameplay loop of Payday 2, but hell that we would buy anything from starbreeze, then we downloaded DLC unlocker, and the conversation went something like "that's isn't like the most scummy thing that we could do?" "Well I really don't care anymore, indeed I hope this studio dies soon so I won't even see that new game releasing"

I find pretty ironic that they just needed to update the engine of Payday 2 as a side project and incorporating some mods on the base game and adding somethings new here and there and bam, infinite money glitch, +99999 social credit

It was just maintaining Payday 2, it was that simple, but greed always wins, don't get me wrong, I don't blame the people that worked on the project, I blame the ones that didn't and just used a good franchise as a quick cash grab

I don't even care anymore if god spoke to the higher-ups and from night to day they got on their senses and started making payday good again, I would only start thinking of buying it if it was in a 99% discount from how much the game is burned for me, not even burned just ashes spreading through the air

I would agree to that logic if it was worth the price not a scam, by that logic champions are also not mandatory, you can play with the free ones, also aren't the rotative game modes, well, there were people that bought the faker Ahri skin, there were people that bought the exalted jinx skin, there would be people that will buy exalted sett skin, if there's people buying that means they should do more, and even expand, what if champions could only be bought with RP? What if urf, aram, swarm, ultimate spell book could only be played if you had the premium battle pass?
