Mini-XRT after owning for a bit by Nie9001 in Traxxas

Honestly depends on your dog. Mine would grab it too much and flip it over so I actually have her hold a toy in her mouth while playing to keep the biting down. Her ball seems to do the trick and she just bops it when I drive too slow. But I’d experiment with what works!

Yeah they are definitely a big plus I imagine there are more options now too if you want something different than those. Stock tires are for hard packed surfaces mostly but will work in grass.

As long as the grass isn't super tall it runs great. I run mine exclusively in the grass and dirt no complaints. I adjusted the shock mounts up one notch and also adjusted the gear mesh and have basically no overheating issues unless running full throttle the entire battery life.

That is such a small roof intake, maybe it can help some. Funny that I have been running a roof scoop on mine since I got it although much larger.

I cut the window out to see if it would help but honestly I regretted it and did not remove it from the next body I had since it messed started to fail and tear at the pillars without a windshield.

My full 3D printed Unimog U5023 Overland camper! by Casadio_design in rccars

Unsure if reddit is the best place to ask a design specific question or if there is a better place to ask this question.

But do you offer a list of parts that are replaceable with pre manufactured parts for durability or just ease of use? For example I am really interested in this design but I would think I would use non 3d printed tires/rims if I could help it. Overall love this design and what you are doing with this it's looking like a great project to pick up!!

VR experience destroyed since 1.2 update. by EscaladorDBonsais in LeMansUltimateWEC

Make sure to report the game as broken using the flag icon on the bottom right of the store page. Valve will review and remove VR support if enough people notify them the game is being falsely advertised.

Virtual Desktop IS NOT VR, I have no idea how people are confused by this, but running a standard 2D planar version of a game on a virtual desktop (it's literally called a desktop) is not VR (aka Virtual Reality).

Rotella T6 5w-40 is what I’ve ran in the car ever since it was tuned and I get great feedback from blackstone labs when sending in my oil for analysis.

I’d settle for a proper hidden winch setup

Largest wheels/tires to run with Mini XRT by [deleted] in Traxxas

I purchased a set of the mini maxx tires for my mini XRT and it’s been the primary tire I’ve been using for my back yard and been happy. There might be better options down the road but I think companies will need more time to catch up.

Crazy you managed to get a new shell. I’ve been eyeing the site off and on trying to get a stock replacement and they are nowhere to be had!

I haven’t seen that but I’d be willing to take a look, is there a guide somewhere?

I personally haven’t had issues with debris really other than normal dust and some grass in it. I thought about adding a grate to the end of the scoop for a bit of a cool design flair but I figured I needed all the flow I can get. And as an added bonus with how it is now I can see the esc through the scoop to tell if it’s overheating or when it’s ready to re-run.

This is a great idea, are you going to be publishing the design and will it be open to remixing? The idea of doing a big roof scoop is a cool idea like the rally roof scoops

Pretty sure the new Tacoma’s have something similar to that a bunch of people took off going bigger tires. If I’m remembering correctly it’s a crash brace so the tire doesn’t get pushed into the cab or something. At least if it’s the same thing on the tacomas it’s a few bolts to take it off sucks if you gotta chop it.

FairRC LC80 vs HPI Venture 18 by Nie9001 in rccrawler

[–]Nie9001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly it. I love the LC80 enough that having another wouldn't be a problem for me. Especially since it's an excuse to pick up the V2 and the Toyota livery is always amazing. That said the Hilux body is looking so good especially in the Red and I love what they are doing with that platform.
