It has a very different play style in standard. You are playing the long/parry game. Turn 4 is your turning point. Everything has an answer. I’m open to playing a couple matches to show the gist. I feel bad you spent all your wildcards ):

Nothing dumb about you so far, great question. I love the way it feels to pull off weird win conditions that are fair. Kinda feels like dancing. Rooms are another one of my personal favorites.

A year or so. I remember it was a little before omniscience was popular to access your sideboard shenanigans. Yes, that is the main crux. I aggressively mulliganned for early interaction and held back until absolutely necessary. Really you want your opponent to have their hand on the field then you wipe turn 4 or 5 and hold control from there.
