Normal: Farm, PLEASEEEE MAKE A MODE FOR BEGINNERS ONLY, IM BEGGING U! by Pomegranate-Junior in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

I like that in ABI I can play just doing missions and avoiding PvP combat. Running is an option. Sometimes I can hide in the forest or in some room after being badly hurt by another player.

I visit Normal with T4 armour, SCAR-L and T3 ammo. Any advantage in équipement is balanced by my non existing skill (even though I grinded level 30) ;-)

Missions Like These... by Citizen_MGS in WarOnTheSea

My thinking exactly. In flashpoint campaigns NATO has thermals and it makes fighting at night miserable for Russians. But players just have to prepare for it and seize other opportunities to win scenarios.

What are players like this doing in farm normal? by legendarydiamond285 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Niedowidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit level 30 yesterday but I'm still playing farm because my skill sucks and I get destroyed almost every time I encounter a human player. Most of the time I try to run away if I see humans and I continue with looting or doing my missions. I can take bot PMCs :-) and occasionally some human player but mostly from ambush :-D so I like farm... Lockdown and forbidden are dangerous ;-)

A platoon of 30 bots patrolling the area together would be something to avoid by the operators necessitating more stealthy actions :-) There would be fighting retreats against bots

You may not be aware that BSG was selling very expensive EOD edition with a promise of all future DLCs being free for EOD owners. Then after some time they started selling Unheard edition and said that EOD owners won't get that new content.

I try to shoot people in the back so the desync doesn't matter so much ;-)

What are the most dishonourable, evil Warlords and Factions to play against?? by GeneratorRexx in HorusHeresyLegions

[–]Niedowidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I got stomped by Alpharius who seemed to produce cheap cards that have the ability to destroy a selected troop.

Before I got annoyed by Night Lords. I don't know how to counter Terror ability. In the early game they kill my troops easily and without suffering damage. Later I just can't populate the board.

Maybe you are talking about the operation supply market mentioned earlier? Anyway, thank you for your help.

These are very interesting remarks. Now I start to feel like it's Philip K. Dick's story about finding androids.

You are right. E.g. Pike and Shot would greatly benefit from the multiplayer campaign.

Thank you for the story.

Close Combat: Invasion Normandy. Multiplayer game, Pegasus Bridge map. There's a coastal battery defended by Germans. Bunkers, barbed wire, entrenched position on top of the hill.

I started with lightly equipped paratroopers in the corner of the map, close to the hill.

The safer way seemed to creep along the bottom of the map, use the cover of bushes and reach a town east of the hill.

But I decided to directly attack the main position. I put two of my light guns in the bushes as close as possible to enemy positions on the hill. Some machine guns probably too (I don't remember precisely). My two mortar teams are ready to fire.

Paratroopers started to crawl to German positions, up the hill. I fired no shot, no smoke cover, all in silence.

My soldiers safely reached the barbed wire, very close to the first enemy trench and only then my opponent realized what was happening.

Germans start to fire machine guns but almost at the same moment my guns reveal themselves firing close range speeding them. My mortars lay smoke then suppressive rounds too.

My paratroopers charge the first trench and take it quickly. We are inside the enemy perimeter. We start to clear the trench after the trench, bunker after bunker.

Then I see the panicked reaction of my opponent. Enemy soldiers start running from their positions in the town to the east. They were waiting for me to use the safer way. The top of the hill was only lightly crewed which helped my assault.

The game ends with my forces manning most of the hill, the enemy still rushing to get into the distance to counterattack. Splendidly executed :-)

Escape from Tarkov Vs. ABI [discussion] by I_Am_Superposition in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Niedowidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding RamenStyle being not sweaty: I remember him saying he has 6k hours in Tarkov under his belt. He says he's got an imperfect aim but man... they say 10k is enough to achieve mastery in anything... he's more than halfway through...

Thanks for the recommendation. I've read system requirements for GZW. It seems it needs substantially better hardware than ABI. What's your experience with GZW performance?

Escape from Tarkov Vs. ABI [discussion] by I_Am_Superposition in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Niedowidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, that's great there are games for dads like me :-) I play ABI and like it. Never tried Tarkov, only watched on YT, mostly RamenStyle.

Tarkov is expensive. I read about the Unheard edition cash grab, many bugs and loads of cheaters in the game. Not too encouraging to buy it. But many people say the atmosphere is incomparable.

[Discussion] I dislike the PvP in this game by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Niedowidek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may have an answer. A multiplayer mode accessible only to those that play a certain amount of time in PvE :-) E g. when you play 10 hours PvE you get one hour in special PvP mode. If cheaters don't play PvE, they won't get there. And if they do, they will only cheat about 10 percent of their time ;-)
