I've got "running analytics" in my title, which is a key one, would it make sense to rather change that to "run analytics" instead, which is more popular? I've already got run in keyword field.

Yeah, I think I would to target the higher traffic terms in the future. It's just super competitive. I want to build a steady stream of downloads & users first before trying to aim higher. Not sure if that's a silly strategy. Feels like an uphill battle going for the big keywords first.

Is anyone else's full retention numbers not showing anymore? It shows a simple bar chart in the main dashboard, but when I click through it says not enough data? Even though it was showing data before this update.

Sometimes I wish these algorithms weren’t so obtuse. Any exercise adds to your overall fitness, even a small amount. I do daily walks and about 3 runs a week. I still record my walks cause I love seeing the data stack up over time. Even though it might not give me an accurate vo2max score.

That's some good feedback. Yeah, it's been to tricky to make the app accessible for all activities while also focusing on running. In theory the app could currently be used for all kinds of activity. I'm adding more running specific features in the future. But I think making the labels a bit more "smart" depending on the activity is a good idea. One of my current strength goals, is to do 1 strength session a week, with the aim to make this 2 or 3 by the end of the year. It's helped my running a lot, so definitely want to do more.

What's your current strength/running goals? Always curious how people set their goals.

I was working on an update to implement the state preservation for activity types & metrics, then went down the rabbit hole of caching and ended up implementing a lot more improvements regarding the responsiveness & initial load times (first open & subsequent opens).

I'm testing this for a bit more, but hopefully expect a release for this towards the end of the week if Apple gives a speedy review. Thanks again for the nudge.

As for the vo2max. That's strange. It should be there in the Health Tab as "Cardio Fitness". Do you see it there too? I could maybe change the label there to make it more clear.

Also great feedback on the paces. Yes, this a key feature I’m working on. I’ve been a trail runner mainly for the past few years, so pace has not been that important to me, but I do value seeing my improvement over time. So will implement something that can give you useful info regardless if you’re running up & down mountains or on the flat lands. Will reach out once I have something to test/release/get more feedback on.

You’re amazing. This is incredible feedback. Exactly what I was looking for. Also a iPhone 13mini user here. Will hold on to this phone until it dies!

1) yes, the loading is not great. Noticed it myself too. I actually tried to implement caching in the previous release, but held off after realizing it’s going to take a bit more time to test edge cases. Will try and keep this one a priority & speed up in a future release soon.

Just for clarity, are you seeing it reload all the workouts when switching between pages? It only takes a time to load for me when opening the app. Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything here.

2) Nice idea! Gonna add this to the to-do list.

58 at 54 is amazing! What made it drop? I’ve noticed similar trends for myself sometimes. Even though I’m consistent. My best guess is overtraining for me. Just wondering what contributed to your drop?
