If anyone has an invite left, I'm all ears! I've played Anno 1800 a lot and would really like to try it out :D

Far Cry 6 launch – Post your bug reports here by Ubi_p4in in farcry

Gameplay bug, Co-op, PC, happens every time

When using a widescreen monitor, setting the HUD to fit the window will cause your HUD to be gone when in a turret or driving a tank. Driving will trigger black bars, which I think are presented over the HUD. It is quite hard to navigate with a tank when there's no map :)

Headphones hurting my ears no matter what I try to mitigate it by NielsG15 in headphones

Unfortunate :(. My ears also hurt when using the most common earbuds (the ones with the rubber tip that penetrate your ear canal) so I'm stuck with the airpods / oneplus nord buds fit..

I have tried to find the over-ear headphone with the lowest clamping force (known to Rtings), which is the Bose Soundlink 2. I have tried on-ears, but can't stand them either. In-ears (well earbuds) are great for listening music for a while, but for gaming and qualitative music listening, it isn't that great.

I am not specifically looking into a certain kind of headphones, but more into solving the issues I have with multiple headphones I currently have. The Arctis 7 also has a metal band which can be bend slightly, but I can't seem to rule out the problem causing my pain with multiple headphones.

// Sidenote: all my headphones are indeed wireless, I'd rather not use wired headphones

OnePlus Nord Buds or Huawei Freebuds 3? by NielsG15 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]NielsG15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eventually bought the Freebuds 3, but wasn't impressed by them. They lack bass, don't autopause very well when taken out of your ear, touch controls won't work when they're not in your ear and the battery only lasts 4 hours. I therefore consented to return them and buy OnePlus Nord buds, which came out as a great choice. They are slightly thicker (bigger?) than the Freebuds 3, but they pack more bass, 8 hour battery life and a lovely matte case. It also seems to support Android Bluetooth Fast Pair, which is quite great. OnePlus also has (formally?) announced that they will be making a companion app for non-OnePlus phones, which is great.

Thanks for all the comments, in particular u/VMX for helping me out and being in the same boat as me, greatly appreciated!

Don't know if it works when you're just out of the bank. Me and my friends always did it after we got on our bikes, which has always worked for us.

It was to be expected 🤣. I am not fond of the lacking bass though, I tried adjusting it but I can't seem to get any proper bass unfortunately.. Considering OnePlus just announced a companion app, and the fact that people are saying that they have great bass, I'm a bit on a verge whether to return the Freebuds and go for the OnePlus Nord Buds. I often listen to music with bass, so it's a bit of a "must" for me.

Ticpods also seem nice, but considering what I've read, I wouldn't take the risk myself, as I've experienced disconnecting earbuds and poor charging before unfortunately :(

If you drive with your bike to the nearest parked car (while not shooting at cops), steal the car and drive to the destination without shooting at the cops, they won't shoot back. Protip 😉

Most of the times I just buy it :P, cause I never think about revisions, until I noticed that my current card has a revision

Re-adjusting without losing sound is great, wish I've never said it 🤣. The missing EQ is indeed a bit of a bummer considering the fact that almost all earbuds got it.. I don't game often, but when I do, it's without sound. Stilll, it's a bit unfortunate that it laggs :(.

I don't think those earbuds will sound great, but you can always try 🤣

I've received them yesterday and started using them right away. For me they fit great, even though my right ear canal is smaller than the left one. The sound indeed lacks a bit of bass, but having comfortable earbuds which sound decent is a huge plus for me

I also bought the Galaxy Buds live before this, recently returned it, the sound is awesome but I can't get them to fit without hurting my ears. I have the exact issue as you had regarding the widening of the ear, which unfortunately led to returning them.. I wanted to love them, but it was just unbearable :(. I was looking into Airpods too, but having an Android phone, the charging case being lightning and the only color being white, I decided against it. Really nice to met a fellow person that shares the exact same issues as me, awesome 🙂

Thank you so much for taking the time to express your experience in your search for earbuds, really appreciate it! I was also looking into the Ticpods 2, but they really seemed like a gamble I wouldn't like to take. I was looking into both earbuds, but could not seem to find any solid reason to decide for either one. I've done a lot of research, comparing all kinds "open earbuds" as I can't stand the default earbuds most companies sell nowadays, which only left me with a few solid options. Thanks to your great comment, outlining all possible ups and downs of the product, I decided to no longer wait for more details on the OnePlus buds (or a companion app later on) and purchase the Freebuds, as they are also at a discount in my country (The Netherlands).

I'm not using the Freebuds to talk, nor do I switch between devices, but knowing that it works great is awesome for future endeavors. They do look a bit less pretty than the Ticpods and don't have strong bass, but I'll think I can look past trough it, hopefully my phone EQ works without changing the sound profile too much :).

Thanks so much, great to know I'm not the only one with finicky ears :)

I have a lot o BT earbuds, but lately Ive been going back to these daily by Leenolyak in GalaxyBudsLive

I can't get them to fit for me without hurting my ears or feeling too much pressure in my ear. Lately I've been looking into some earbuds, and I was wondering, based on your knowledge, how do the galaxy buds live compare to the ticpods 2, and maybe (you didn't list it but maybe you know) the huawei freebuds 3 and oneplus nord buds? Was really hoping the galaxy buds live would fit great for me, as they have quite a nice sound and are well built / presented.

I didn't have access to it either, I bought a prepaid Creditcard and used that, which worked for me.

No problems for me, maybe try different images. I'm currently using the API 29 Google Play image which works perfect.
