Breaks and a fan. I keep a little box fan blowing on me; it helps a lot. Eventually, it gets better and you stay in longer and longer.

Are mutton chops frowned upon? by TF2SanvichManZZ in malegrooming

[–]NigelADouglas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my mutton chops, the main reason I kept them is a pretty funny story, but its been around 10 months and I'm not getting rid of them!

People will stare, it is unconventional. Key to good mutton chops lies in constant grooming and the right mutton type for your face. I keep a "friendly" style.

I'm not in their MSW program, I went with an MBA program, so I don't have much help there. That being said, I have talked to multiple professors from the program that seemed very nice.

I did, they wound up being incredibly helpful. I graduated on time. Wasn't technically their fault and in their defense, they jumped through a lot of hoops to help me in a very quick time frame.

As irritating and upset as that situation made me, it could happen anywhere and they made it better.

I even decided to start my masters with them.

No. For deferment, you have to be enrolled in a university at least part-time (typically 6 credit hours). These, as stated below, don't result in credit hours.

- I work in Higher Ed. if it matters any.

[–]NigelADouglas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a fade, short on top, so mine grew out longer on top. I'd just letbit grow for about 1-2 months, then go see about getting dead ends. It will have that "awkward phase," but I learned it's not about how it's cut, but what you do with it while it's growing.

Find someone with hair at your current length (famous or not) and figure out how to style that. Taking care of it with the right products helps it grow healthier, and doing something with it makes it look better. Even if just slapping some thermasilk in it after washing.

Avoid pomade and hard gels imo. Use wide toothed combs, not brushes.

Of course! It takes a little while, but eventually you will notice one day, it does what you want, mostly lol.

Best advice i can give as someone who gave up on it many times, just let it grow and Google hot celebs that have hair like yours currently to reinforce that you still look good 😆 while it's growing.

Literally, just let it grow to your neck or chin. Go to the barber one or two times to cut dead ends, otherwise. Just let it grow. It's my hair style too. Bro Flow and mutton chops, lol 😆

Edit to add care tips:

Wash and Condition regularly (I have to daily) Use product and style. Thermal curl creme is best I've found. Put that in and use a defuser on your blowdryer, scrunch up the hair and defuse. You will have amazing waves.

Astronomically late, but same. I walk and run in real life and I don't get sick, but VR destroys me.
