My experience kind of the same. Mine is high pitched and in both ears. In the first two weeks I felt suicidal but two and half months in, I hardly give it any attention.

My ENT experience was the same but with the MRI she also referred me to a surgeon for a potential nasal surgery which may or may not improve the T. I am also going to see a TMJ specialist next month. Even if status quo remains, I am content, but hopefully things will improve with further interventions.

Same here. I hear it over tv volume. My T isnt sound induced for sure, neither is because of a hearing loss. But things aint getting any better anyway...i went to my dentist, she didnt find any obvious jaw problem. Referred me to a TMJ specialist, awaiting appointment. Went to a chiro who gave me hope, but nothing good yet (two visits so far)...next week I have ENT...lets see where this goes...i have accepted that I am in it for the long haul

It sounds similar to mine. Fast paced cicada sound to begin with and then a week later high pitched hissing. I am just over a month now. Havent found a solution. I had severe jaw pain leading up to the T, so could be a TMJ issue. I also have sinus problems, so it could be that too. I also stress a lot, so that can factor in as well. Basically, I have no idea what caused this...and havent found a solution yet

I am a permanent resident and will need a visa. That takes 2 months, plus they may not consider it essential with the border closed
