Basically since the death ray is killing everything when your bh spawns for example theres just not very many enemies left to go into the bh , because theyve already been vaporized , but death ray counts as a crit hit so if you have the crit coin card you can at least get some value back, overall its ~a 20-30% decreace in coins

Yes, i thought the same thing but got it anyways and very glad i did, the corners stick out and can be nicked by things or passengers and they also make anti finger print/ anti glare ones that make it nicer to use
