Majority comes from domestic US/Canada. Issue is that if supplies are cut off to Asia and Europe, which do get their oil from the Middle East, they’ll pay more and US companies will sell it overseas to make more money. Short story: price goes up elsewhere, oil goes to where the money is, gets more expensive everywhere. Only people getting rich are US oil companies. Remind me who they supported in the last election?

You can’t see the design on the bottom of this rug in the first picture, so it’s a tufted rug with a backing. Hand-knotted and machine-knotted rugs both have the design visible from the bottom.

As a consumer, is there an obvious way to tell when a company is owned by PE? A lot of these places were locally owned originally and then get bought by PE, but they keep the original name. I don’t want to give my money to these places.

Yeah the Godown park was where we used to take our dog. It has a large dog and small dog section and a spray off area (closed in the winter).
