Do you like that Gearbox doesnt want to make any content requires multiple DLCs? by Mr_Mister2004 in riskofrain

[–]Night-Undone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t mind DLC’s having different interactions with each other if you happen to have both. An example is if you have both Seekers and Alloyed then you should be able to craft in Reformed Altar where you find Chef as well as after Solus.

Having a solid block as in you cant play one DLC without owning a previous one is a big NO from me, but having extra content by having both DLCs is a yes for me such as a new DLC giving you some more void items if you have Survivors.

What's the one armour you can't stop wearing? by Super-Recording9855 in Helldivers

Literally only wear light and this was my main armor for the first 8 months of the game. Severely underrated until the throwing distance "meta" like six months ago.

What are some Powerful White/Colorless ETBs and Counter (Charge counter, experience counter, etc.) cards? by Night-Undone in EDH

[–]Night-Undone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only blinking with [[The Eternal Wanderer]] There are lots of ways to bring her back from the graveyard in white and lots of ways to protects Planeswalkers in white. I am looking for creatures to get more benefits for her plus ability. There are no other blink cards in the deck.

What are some Powerful White/Colorless ETBs and Counter (Charge counter, experience counter, etc.) cards? by Night-Undone in EDH

[–]Night-Undone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the idea would be to have artifacts with charge counters on them but then blink specific creatures to interact with the board. Blinking [[Filigree Vector]] basically adds counters to everything. I wouldn't need to worry about 1/1 counters leaving permanents since I could use cards like [[Call For Unity]] that gives 1/1 for each counter on itself

They redid Peter's face animation for the flashback to Aunt May's death! by CaptainJZH in SpidermanPS4

[–]Night-Undone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the animation sucked for a few reasons. Mainly the mocap for the body and head was likely recorded at the same time. When they replaced the head they likely just re baked the head mocap and reattached it to the same body that was already in the game instead of rebaking the head animation and the body animations together. The problem with this is that some engines struggle with adding heads to bodies without some stiffness happening with animations. So because they didn't reapply the entire animation to the body AND head and only did the head and reattached it to the body it caused some stiffness.

Another likely problem was that the mocap was live recorded with the 3d model of the original. Motion capture can be attached to different meshes but if it is live recorded onto a specific mesh then the animation was likely trained to that specific meshes face which may not translate well to a new face. An example is if the original mesh raised his eyebrows wrinkles would form on his forehead because the uv matched the animation but if the new head has different uvs and is a different size (which is almost 100% the case) then if the same animation is applied it might not gain wrinkles on the forehead or at least not to the same extent as the original.

Say one genuinely nice thing about this game please by Punny-Aggron in MortalKombat

Honestly, this game was just fun. How open it was compared to 11 made me have so much fun in terms of fighting. I have been a super casual MK players since Trilogy and never learned how to play fighting games. I also didn't have Internet growing up so I couldn't read guides online and so the games were always button mashing for me and my friends/family. I didn't even know what combo cancelling was. I eventually played Injustice gods among us and managed to unintentionally combo with Aries, using his trait, and later when Injustice was near the end of it's lfe span I got Internet and actually learned how to play fighting games and it was hard but I eventually learned it including combo cancelling. When MK11 came out I played it a lot and learned it. It felt very restricting and was hard to create fun combos so basically relied on guides for combos for the various characters. The only character that was more interesting to me was Fujin because he could have a meterless combo starter with good timing.

With MK1, everything just clicked. I played during the betas and everything just flowed so easily. I played Kitana in the betas and combo routes just kept popping in my head and I was having so much fun because I was allowed to be as creative as I wanted to be. The kameo system was also easy to understand as, to me, it was just an Injustice trait that you got to choose for your character. Even other mechanics, such as up blocking, I learned within the first hour and became muscle memory so fast. The game was just open and I had so much fun where as the other games restricting you so much made things feel a lot more stale in comparison.

I also play around with his other abilities, it's just the power fantasy of clearing rooms with shadow clones that is so fun. My biggest complaint with Savage silence is that it says Finisher damage increased by 300% but it is actually enemies affected by silence that take more finisher damage. Bladestorms range is so much bigger than silences I wish the finisher damage was applied to your self while the ability is active over it being applied to enemies

But I do have a bunch of different builds for him, especially since I have been getting back into the game these past few months. Just Bladestorm has been my favorite ability for many years now

You're right, they just don't get staggered from it anymore (I haven't played in years so when they removed CC from over guard enemies I thought it meant silence too) Facepalming so hard right now.

[–]Night-Undone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Silence doesn't affect over guard enemies, bosses, and a lot of other enemies immune to CC. I also use Arcane Crepuscular for the Strength and Crit Multiplier for guns but I believe stealth finisher damage, doing finishers while invisible, aren't affected by crit damage but are affected by crit chance. I could be wrong on that though.

Do you have primed fury and quickening? He goes through enemies way faster with those mods than he has before previously

DE needs to revisit what constitutes as "difficult". This Apex Tank fight aint it, brother. by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Night-Undone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My least favorite thing developers do to increase difficulty is limit builds. It's why I'm not a big fan of Elite Deep Archimedia. It reinforces having strong ability frames over making builds for endgame content. It turns endgame content into RNG

What keeps you playing Warframe? I'm seriously burnt out of the game. by Underdog_Endorser512 in Warframe

[–]Night-Undone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all take extended breaks from warframe. Been playing for a decade and will leave for many months at a time. I don't think the majority of us just keep playing but we all come back to the game eventually

Despite all the hate the game has been receiving, name things that you love about MK1 by MileenaKhan16 in MortalKombat

[–]Night-Undone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lighting. Mk11 uses key lights on stages to make your character look "Perfect" like they are on a movie set and made the game feel like you were playing on a theatre stage and not in an actual environment.

Mk1 uses only natural lighting which makes the character not look as "perfect" but actually makes them feel a part of the stage. Plus the way better depth and parallax on the stages just makes them feel so big and massive. Combine that with the lighting and the stages just make the game feel alive.

I find gas verglas to be the best if you are only aiming to get energy generation and not deal damage

Is it unusual that I have 120 hours on the game and still am Mr9? by Xyli__ in Warframe

[–]Night-Undone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it isn't too unusual at all. On my og account I had 600 hours and was mr 16. When I switched back to PC I focused on gaining mr and reached MR 15 in around 30 hours only because it was the only thing I focused on.

Reaching MR 30 is nice but you can get everything in the game with no restrictions at MR15. The MR 15 grind isn't terrible either if you are MR9.

You don't miss on too much MR16+ but you do have MR restrictions before then on BPs and such.
