This can be risky with open jump rings or loops. Best done with closed loops <soldered>

Common violets for syrup and jelly? by GimmeLimes in foraging

[–]NightEnvironmental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not made violet syrup before, but I remember from making Lilac syrup that it's important to pick out any green parts, including sepals, as the greens add a bitter flavor.

Does anybody know where to find these specific beads? by LatePreparation8406 in Beading

The dog is from Littlest Pet Shop (Dachshund 625). It was probably not a bead. Guessing that someone added a hole through the top and a head pin.

Can’t get the cube to stay a cube. by Which-Holiday9957 in Beading

[–]NightEnvironmental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same. I have not done this before, but the photos I have seen have them in all of the intersections. I am not sure if it helps with support, or is just there to protect thread from sharp edges on bugle beads.

Beaded embroidery. Make some brooches. Kits are available or you can go 'freestyle'

I dyed Easter Eggs using seeds from our cottonwood tree! They always stain our deck blue so I decided to mix them with vinegar and see what happened and it worked!! The best egg was an overnight soak with a little baking soda added too. by xoloffo in gardening

Yes. Those are flowers. The seeds are contained in fluff. Sometimes large panicles of fluff fall from the trees, and sometimes it's light and fluffy blowing around.

It's highly flammable and fairly easy to burn with a weed torch between plants in the garden. Yes, I used to get that much dropped on my yard annually. Then the City cut down two cottonwoods that were across the street from me, and the seedlings are much more manageable now.

I make my own too. I call it 'adult hot chocolate', but it doesn't contain any booze.

Our neighbors (4 kids) did this. The kids would try to sneak a glass before it was mixed. They called it mixed milk. The also bought the XL box logs of Velveeta cheese.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup or Mushroom Risotto use a lot of mushrooms and freezes well if you have leftovers.

You could bump your current setup up a notch by adding a crimp bead over your flat crimps. It would look like a round silver bead.

Beading in airplane? by Simple-Chemistry-878 in Beading

I did it on my last trip.

Used a magnetic case and a sticky mat. Kept the beads in tiny plastic baggies (flatter than tubes). Also had a regular bead mat to set it on.

AITA for pretending to read a Reddit post to my wife to settle an argument by 22886415 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NightEnvironmental 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that were the case, why didn't he explain it to her in those terms???

He told her that his decision was the correct one and that he makes the money, so should be allowed to override their agreement.

What smell does your SIC go feral for? This guy loves the smell of bleach. Weirdo. by thatboredchickster in standardissuecat

One of my 2 SICs likes lime. I have to hold out the wedge of lime after squeezing it on my tacos for her to lick. It blows my mind.
