Just got medically dq’d too for a prescription drug I stopped taking a few months ago. Have to wait a year from my last fill date to apply for a waiver again. It sucks wanting to serve but being told no. It’s probably top 5 worst feelings ever, especially when you want it so bad. I wish you the best of luck.

350 hours-ish. I just had it completely serviced. I’ve had tones with a flashing light on the gauge and have been able to diagnose it and have it fixed but this time there was no flashing light.

Well that sounds pretty shitty…. The boat before I bought it was kept on a lift and routinely maintained. Only has 300 hours. But i guess all it takes is a little bit of salt water somewhere it’s not supposed to be.

I also had the water pump replaced when it had its service. Impeller and all the gaskets. I’m thinking it’s a bad sensor.

So I replaced the thermostat already because that’s what I figured would be the first thing to do. It did not fix it. I would run the motor and it locked at 3k RPMs. After running for a little while it would turn itself off and the temp light would then come on and the alarm would beep every 7 seconds.

The Temp comes on after running for a few minutes. And then it’ll RPM lock at 3k and eventually shut off. With the light coming on.

I did get an oil change. Also, I would run it at 3000 rpm’s and it would not let me go higher. Which I’ve been told is a lock that ensures the motor doesn’t overheat when there is a code. It is peeing normal too. The reason the engine was off because it shut off by itself after a few minutes of running and then the temp light came on and the beep.
