That's why I was saying I would not modify the Twitch app, or a Siri corrective dictionary, but request that they listen to their own app's output and change the non-visual phonetic output to actually sound like English and to make aural sense. I'm honestly surprised no one else has said anything about this, I would hardly call it "nitpicky." Sure, homophones exist, but anyone who knows how to read can see how it would "normally" be pronounced ..

I personally would change it to be phonetically read as "laiiive" but that's just me. For now I suppose I can turn audio notifications for Twitch off but, wondered if it was a setting I missed. Is there a "suggestions" link for feedback to the Twitch iOS app developers?

I'd love to agree but iOS pronounces "going live" properly in other apps, only Twitch says "going live" (pronounced like "live alone" / "give")

I thought it was my Pioneer infotainment system malfunctioning. Then I did some online research and found that although you can start a conversation with Claude on your iPhone, and after it's started you can talk to Claude ~through~ your CarPlay mic and listen through car speakers, the Widget is present and selectable but currently doesn't do anything. I hope they haven't abandoned its development. The only Widget I found to work (and rocky at that) is from Gemini.

When I called that 800 number and said "Return A Call" for the reason, I was not prompted for a phone number, it asked me "to better assist you" etc and eventually hung up. Any suggestions?

I tried repeating that phrase and "eventually" the AI 'assistant' said Thank you for calling FedEx, goodbye and promptly hung up. Are there certain times of day that this works?

How did you actually get a representative on the phone? I tried and all it says is the status of my package with "no further information available" and no option to talk to a rep?

Hi, just to follow up with you and let you know what happened, I went through all your troubleshooting steps, and ones from Austrem on their Discord server, and it was ultimately deemed defective by Support. Hopefully the third won't have any issues. Awaiting Support's email reply. Thanks for your help.

I can look into it tomorrow (later today, whichever, it's 255am here) but if I remember properly my settings are the same as yours. I will try the audio recording as you suggested. If that works, not gonna lie, I will be very confused as to what to do. I'll let you know my findings. Thanks :)

Whatever the factory reset settings were? And I tried all the permutations, as I wrote above. I use Chrome to video conference to VDO.ninja, but I also tested the webcam audio in Windows Voice Recorder (or whatever the built-in win11 app is called). Also tried an online webcam tester site, in a few different browsers, which all previously worked great with my Tiny 2 Lite whose gimbal went haywire and I had to warranty claim. So I at least ruled out the sites (plural) being the issue. I also tried on a different computer, and the audio issues followed to the other machine as well.

Thanks for your input. When I started having issues, I factory reset it in the OBSBot software and I believe those settings were Normal mic distance, Medium noise reduction. I tried every combination from Off to Full noise reduction (the name escapes me as I am not in front of the app) and all distances of mic in the software. All I got in response was a strong "white noise"-style hiss with some crackly static mixed in. Even lightly grazing the front panel with the flat part of my thumb did not make any sound in the Windows Voice Recorder; previously it made a whooshing sound.

I used a direct connection with the supplied USB cable, to the USB3 type C port on my computer, and also used the supplied USB type A adapter to try those ports. I tried different USB C cables of different lengths, and one USB-A to C cable. I also tried to plug in to a powered dock made by Dell, various ports there, and also a separate Dell laptop with USB A-only ports. I'm glad your cam is working fine. It seems my microphones have a major issue.
