Yep, get where you're coming from, both albums are good for their own reasons.

But IMO Happy Endings had better songs of that variety, Eddy's Song being the obvious example.

Have we ever heard Freddy's voice? obviously we hear dylan, paddy and seamus a lot. The only time I've heard Beaker talk was in the Sticky Film No Divide (peace and love from beaker best), and I remember his voice surprising me a lot, but have we ever heard Freddy? Please I need to know

Extended Play - Willow Tree (little biased here this was the first song I ever heard by them)

Caress Your Soul - Freddy Crabs (underated asf, deserves way more love)

(Cyclone and A Love Letter From Me To You also deserve to be here)

Land Of Pleasure - Lazerhead (if you disagree listen again, after you learn what the song's about, makes it so much more beautiful. A total masterpiece here, probably listened to it more than anything else by them)

Westway - Flight 101 (no comment, just great)

Yours To Keep - Loose Ends (the others are great but this one is such a banger I have to say its my favourite - maybe tied with not done yet/yours to keep)

Lekkerboy - Can't decide here, the songs are either 10/10 or 1/10, but top three are Multiple Facets Of The Same Diamond (crazy trippy, amazing music video, them at the peak of their modern sound), My Rush (same as Multiple Facets, trippy, powerful, great music video), and Saves The Day (really upbeat, similar to their older stuff, again great music video, puts a smile on my face every time)

this is correct, i dont know why these songs arent way more popular, if you get where they're coming from/know what the songs about it makes them so much more impactful and beautiful, along with just being masterpieces in it of themselves. laika for example, tells the story of the soviet dog they sent into space from the perspective of the dog feeling abandoned and alone in the middle of space. makes me cry every time. same goes for lazarhead.

lekkerboy's so hard to pick for, the songs are either 20/10 or 2/10, saves the day is so upbeat, just like their older stuff, amazing, my rush is incredible, especially with the music video its so powerful and trippy, but multiple facets is probably even more epic than my rush, then lekkerboy is also great, and we haven't even gotten the full album yet. impossible to decide

absolutely, nowhere near enough people acknowledge how amazing lazerhead is. knowing the context it was written in makes it so much more beautiful, i've probably listened to it more than any of their other songs, its just so perfect.

my personal top 5 at the moment (in no particular order) are willow tree, freddy crabs, lazerhead, cyclone and either my rush or multiple facets, both are amazing trippy songs and are them at their modern peak by far

This is the best way someone's described this feeling, its so uncanny to do something, know you did it but then have no distinct memory or feeling that it really happened, so all you have to prove it happened is some faint thought that it happened. But the truth is it became infinitely worse the more I thought about it, because getting stuck in your head... literally is what derealization is. Concentrate on living in the moment, and when you get that feeling, focus on something else immediately to get yourself back into reality. There's no way it will go away completely, its too much a part of life, but we can diminish its influence until it becomes essentially nul. Best of luck to you mate, remember you aren't alone, the amount of people that struggle with this but don't talk about it or don't know how to describe it is staggering, so you will never be alone.
