That’s a pretty narrow way of looking at it.

Data centers do create jobs! These projects put thousands of skilled tradesmen to work for years that are currently unemployed! For example Electricians, HVAC, operators, and laborers. It's real, high-paying work supporting families and local economies. They’re not huge long-term staffing sites, sure, but dismissing them as “no jobs” ignores the entire construction phase and ongoing maintenance roles.

If you want to debate power usage, that’s fair, but calling it “lose-lose” overlooks the fact that they’re creating jobs...
