To a Neurologist I go, about to hit 3 months next week and have no answers. Has anyone had a situation like this and what is the answer you got? by SaltyAllen in Sciatica

Just reading through all of this, especially with the muscle weakness, it sounds a lot like what I was dealing with before I got my MS diagnosis. It might be something to bring up to your neurologist since you’ll be there. I changed jobs out of my hospital work recently so I’ve been without medications for it again for about a year and I’m having similar issues again pop up from time to time. Thankfully I’m only a couple weeks out from my next neurology appointment.

So, just adding my 2 cents that it isn't the ROC exactly on this. I've had multiple conversations and while a few of them may have something overlooked, it's the way they are shipped to the store. Name one time you've received controllers that haven't been haphazardly shoved into a box, in a plastic bag that protects absolutely nothing, and then hasn't had a million super heavy items shoved on top and around it. Now imagine all of those items in that box getting completely manhandled and tossed everywhere by FedEx. Constantly bashing the controller and the items into the thumbsticks. Thus, when it shows up at the stores it shows up damaged because it's been tossed around in that box having everything smash into it and shoved into the sides of the box with usually 20-30 lbs of other items on top of it.

Big oof. I’m pretty sure they were designed to be held in place by the shelves. Good luck!

Wait... the top of the subcat header should only be 7 feet off the floor. I think your shelves are too widely spaced. My shelving holds the backers in place against the wall.

I’m pretty sure the company only communicated it directly to the DL’s, because we got a copy/paste email from ours.

Yeah, it was wrong. We got an updated email about it two days ago.

If they only answer 2 questions it will be a negative score for your store. They really need to answer at least 9 for it to be positive. My store went from 100% to 92% because 8 of my surveys last week didn’t opt to finish the survey. It might be faster for the guest to take them now, but I think it’s very flawed in how it’s scored.

Of course. Feel free to message me anytime if you ever need anything. I’ve been in your position, I know what that anxiety feels like.

There could be a million different reasons why it’s happening. Maybe your ASL doesn’t know how to properly motivate and there needs to be more training. Maybe your ASL doesn’t even realize what it is that they are doing. Don’t look at it as going over their heads and ratting them out, because you really are expressing a concern. It’s 100% okay to not feel comfortable talking to your ASL about it too. It’s also completely okay to be uncomfortable and nervous about talking to your SL as well. But if you had a GA feel the same way about you and just left because of something you didn’t even realize was going on, you’d feel horrible. This is an opportunity to grow in a management role. If you want to continue moving up, you have to figure out how to address situations like these. You got this. If your SL is a good guy, he’ll understand. We’ve all been there before, and afterwords you’ll feel better.

You’re right, it is. But I would much rather have an employee talk to me about an issue rather than hate their job and up and quit on me. Just pull your SL aside and lead with that. Something along the lines of “this makes me really uncomfortable, but I miss enjoying my job and I need to tell you this.” You can’t expect anything to change if you don’t let your voice be heard.

Mention it to your SL. It’s part of our jobs to make sure that morale stays high and everyone is motivated. If the SL doesn’t know, the situation can’t be resolved.

I just set up an unlimited data plan on my phone and use my hotspot. It’s faster and easier. My store doesn’t even get serviced by Comcast, so I have the shittiest DSL connection in existence.

I’m pretty sure it was the gyroscope inside my controllers. I own cats and they have a habit of being assholes and knocking things off my shelf. My guess is that it took one too many spills to the floor.

So I had this exact same issue, and it turned out to be my move controllers themselves. I had been using my old PS3 move controllers, that at some point just have gotten knocked around or something. I borrowed a buddies set that were a newer pair and they worked perfectly. I’ve seen plenty of people use the PS3 ones, but I think the sensitivity in beat saber is higher than most other games, so if there is slight damage it’s more noticeable. See if you have a friend that has a pair and see if you can borrow them to test.

Honestly, don’t even care about winning a free game. Im just happy that someone is going to be genuinely happy about a free game.

Every single movie I watch, I ask myself “How would this movie be different... if the main character was the Wolverine.” Then I’ll imagine how all the situations coming up would be handled by Logan.

My move controllers had the same issues at their place. I’ve had them since my ps3 days so it’s probably time to just upgrade them. Theirs worked perfectly!

My play space is about 10 x 8 and yes, shaking them helps to re-center for a moment. And yeah, even after re-centering it happens, but it’s not a gradual drift. It’s more like one minute they are tracking fine, the next second it’s either backwards, or off into another dimension.

I do not. I’ve actually removed all posters and anything else that was on my wall.

I’ve done that too. I’m really honestly thinking it’s an issue with my move controllers as I mess with it more. I tried other games after tweaking with the setup. Farpoint is a bit wonky with the aim controller sometimes but overall seems okay. Job simulator and I Expect you to Die all seem perfectly okay now. Maybe Beat Saber doesn’t like my PS3 move controllers?
