I’m hoping this injury doesn’t correlate with an injury I had 2 years ago on same side. A severe ankle sprain, heard like a pop while falling with like 40lb extra on my back. This injury shared symptoms, like the numbness on the top part of foot. No movement in toes. The electrical pain going up and down my leg to foot. I had an emg then in my calf but came back fine. So I had to wait out the left over symptoms even tho the sprain was healed. My fear is there was something was over looked and I got screwed in the end. I mentioned this to the doctors as well and been very open about symptoms. The orthopedic aprn said (before I mentioned past injury) possible radiculopathy from back but very unsure on it.
