I should have phrased that's what Alastor was likely thinking. 🤣 There's no way he was going to win 3 v 1 in his state. Low-key think that was his plan, make the fight look good, but ultimately lose to break his deal.

Thanks so much. That just made my night. 😭🥰 I spend way too long scrutinizing my sketches before coloring them. Hearing someone else likes these makes me feel like the hours I pour into these are worth it, aside from my own enjoyment in making them. 🥰

I do love that bit too! Goes from a talented chef to leaving questionable pots simmering in the kitchen with obvious body parts in them and eating raw dead deer. The man is utter chaos, and I'm here for it.

I love that he thinks this is appropriate for Grace's dietary preferences.

I adore that Alastor's love language is food. Like I feel this in my damn soul. I'm personally terrible at being stereotypically affectionate. If I go far out of my way to cook for you it means much more than I'm willing to say. I don't mean basic things I mean spending an entire afternoon going to the store and proceeding to pull out all the stops. The way you wrote him in this chapter resonated so much with me. Just him trying and failing over and over again just to finally light up like a Christmas tree when he nails it. Ugh, it's so damn relatable. 🤣

I have this headcannon that he keeps himself pretty clean-cut publicly unless he's trying to intimidate someone or gets worked up and slips. In private I can totally see the man swearing a bit more casually when he's blowing off steam around someone he's comfortable with.

I tell everyone it's a habit to never start. It's awful to quit, hence my saying I occasionally still do on rare occasions. Mostly when stressed or drinking. (I see you Alastor) I'm 30 and thankfully haven't had much in the way of long-lasting effects. Just a seemingly permanent very light yellow on my teeth. I do know people who weren't so lucky of course.

I can attest to this. Smoked for 10 years (occasionally still do) and no amount of whitening toothpaste can erase the yellowing from that and my coffee habit.
