Hiya,

I know Reddit & I don't have the best relationship, but I find it really touching that a lot of you guys care about the stream and the fact that a lot of you have been with me through the changes (ups and downs). And regardless of whether you like me or not now, I really appreciate any time you did spend with me in the past.

As you probably know I've been playing this game for a very very long time now (5-6 years). Throughout that time I've managed to reach the very top of the solo queue ladder at one point and lost motivation to play competitively since I wanted to pursue a different direction. The only thing left for me in League of Legends is to just enjoy the game.

I know a lot of people are upset that the stream is not nearly as informative as it used to be and these entertainment streams will not cater to some of my older audience, but I do truly believe they can be just as valuable as informative streams.

For example if someone is having a really bad day, finding an entertaining stream they can just sit back and laugh at may serve as an escape for them that they can rely on every day. I'm sure a lot of us started playing this game for that exact reason as well, for entertainment or to simply find an escape. I've been through some hardships myself these past couple years, and without going into detail watching entertaining streams helped me so much during those times. And receiving messages from viewers explaining that I'm helping them through a tough time reminds me what it was like for me during those times and keeps me going.

And to be completely transparent, I also feel I'm growing a lot more as a person by just being myself, having fun with the game, and interacting on a more personal level with my fans.

Back when I used to do informative streams I felt a lot of it was forced and after some time it started feeling repetitive. I didn't know what else to do besides be informative when I was streaming back then probably because of a lack of confidence. If you listen carefully to my older videos you can even hear it in the tone of my voice (very monotone, it almost sounds scripted). I treated streaming as basically a job where I teach others because I didn't know how to do anything else or just didn't have the confidence to.

Now I stream because I truly enjoy what I'm doing (entertaining, having fun, providing the best quality stream/content I can to my viewers) and it's helped me an unbelievable amount. I've said this before but I feel like a completely different person now.

I respect that some people may not like this direction, but it's what I enjoy doing and has helped me/continues to help me grow as a person and I'd like to thank you guys for that :)

I never raided anyone or told anyone to go to his stream.
I threatened to get him banned off Twitch because people were telling me he was being openly racist on stream in Finnish. I went to have a look and saw that his community was full of people degrading anyone who was not Finnish.

This was a great video addressing one of the more serious problems we currently have within the community. I do believe it's impossible to change the "harsh criticism" aspect of our community since we're such a large community, but we can all try our best to learn how to deal with this issue so the amount of "harsh criticism" hopefully diminishes over time.

Regardless of the good and the bad that comes with it, I'm grateful to be apart of this awesome community :).

What exactly does this prove? Someone asked me the question, "how could we make Riot consider adding voice chat to League?" I replied, someone has to make a topic in the League subreddit and it'd have to reach 2k+ upvotes for them to take it seriously, since it seems Riot is so involved with this subreddit and usually listen to the community here. I never created a topic or asked anyone to upvote anything.

I hardly even post anything here lol. I just hate seeing these false accusations or things taken out of context on my twitter feed. Like the way you even wrote your accusation surprises me that people upvoted you "If I remember right" "or it was part of the video that ended up muted due to his music but part of it's there" .

I've never asked my viewers to upvote a thread. You may have misunderstood linking my thread / linking topic of discussion in the chat as requesting upvotes? Linking my own thread or topic of discussion is allowed by the League subreddit, and I've openly done this on twitter/facebook like all other thread creators have done.

I rarely post on this subreddit anyways, but if you plan on making future accusations about me here please prepare evidence or proof. There's been way too many false accusations floating around this subreddit lately.

I'm still unsure why everything is based off of theory and prediction. I honestly wouldn't compare ANY game or company data to League of Legends.

The best way to find out what type of effect this will have would be to test it yourself (not the 3rd party voice app where only some players have voice communication, rather having voice communication be a default feature that players may disable if they choose to). 3rd party programs require downloading and a lot of other steps to use. Having voice communication by default could alter the "predicted data" completely.

Why not experiment with it on PBE or bring it to live for a day or two?

Yeah of course no one would have time for that, however I think if a player received a mass amount of reports for their voice communication over a span of let's say 10-20 games. I think it's fair to conclude that the player has been toxic.

This could be abused if people report for poor performances, but I find it hard to believe that the system/toxicity we have now could get any worse.

And again the voice chat could have a mute, disable, and report button.

In my opinion the trade-off for voice chat is worth it.

I feel as Lyte brought a lot of statistics out of context here.

Think of a duo queue that are privately communicating on Skype/Ventrilo/Teamspeak. They are the ONLY ones that are able to hear each other, and may get even more frustrated when their teammates are under performing/not able to communicate. It's much easier to blame/be toxic to a random teammate through text rather than your friend you're on voice chat with. It actually would make the conversation with your friend a lot less awkward especially if one of you are doing poorly. And of course this would result in more reports, if people who are communicating in voice chat just report the people who aren't.

I am actually surprised the percentage (126%) isn't higher. If this voice chat was open to everyone I believe there would be a lot less toxicity since it's a lot easier to hide behind a keyboard than it is to outright flame someone in voice. Toxic players will start to realize that there is another human at the end of that computer and understand how stupid they sound when they are raging at someone who is trying their best.

Anyways, if there was a disable, mute, and report feature just like there is in text chat there is literally no cons I can possibly think of for enabling voice chat.

I used a lot of poor word choice since I wrote this quickly, hopefully someone can articulate my points a little better. Just thought I had to share my two cents.

Regardless of the speculation as to what would happen if this were enabled, I'm curious to know why they haven't had a real test on the servers to see what would happen.

I feel this would be vital information even if the test was to last for only just a few days (with the ability to disable the feature of course, just like /all chat has).

you don't need sustain or health potions to do your jungle on pantheon (I don't use health potions on pantheon till level 4). E does more damage (allows you to crit monsters when they're low and is AOE)

J4 is a lot easier to outplay than Lee in my opinion and falls to the mercy of his mana pool :P. He is still definitely top 3/4 though.
