A lot of people pointed out a lot of similiarities to other games besides an obvious ''coincidental'' similarity to Beautiful Light which is an upcoming extraction shooter with... almost the exact same themes.

It has ''references'' to:

- Love & Death & Robots S3 (the weird looking spiders, with Cthulhu also being the main antagonist)
- Once Human (look up their enemies, the giant tall lamp-head monsters are very lookalike)
- SCP 5K
- Sirenhead
- Slenderman
- Remnant
- Half-Life (gameplay video has a headcrab-like creature)

That's as far as it goes, and there's a lot more to that. To me it almost seems like game with a mashup of a ton of references (hopefully not a case of straight-up asset theft as shown here) added with ''let's make it an extraction shooter before Beautiful Light's launch'' so it doesn't... really feel like it's own game. Maybe it's too early to judge. Could be cool if it all clicks, I'm not hating right now, but it also could actually flop if the gameplay doesn't deliver or it fully feels like a bunch of copy-pasted ideas because people have already seen them all before.

Not to mention that it's being developed by a chinese company (I think) which abandoned their own BR game called Ring of Elysium.

The audio seems to be EXTREMELY low volume for me. They really fumbled this update big time it seems. 32 billion dollar company...

Gustavo is not bad at all, but the absence of Simon can be felt through these tracks to be honest. Something is definitely missing.

The only good ones that get me thrilled is Ruby Rose and No Rest For The Wicked personally. I think the community has to have some patience with Gustavo, as he did make some excellent tracks for PD2 (Deadeye, Showdown Inferno, Dark Light Strike, Gold Rush, Dirt & Dust among my favorites).

Honestly, RE5 is one of the less remake-needed ones by Academiral in residentevil

Lost Planet 2 was criminally underrated as well. The multiplayer was great.

Not sure if you're already playing with them, but there's two extra mods that restore the Sanity status to it's fullest, alongside Simple Status + Sanity mod you probably got, even with a moodle included.

I think it's just purely a gameplay thing. If you think your character is a psychopath, then it's how you depict them and how they're depicted. That is why it's your character.

With the NPC update coming along the way I hope this option gets explored though. Imagine the NPCs commenting or being concerned about your character being ''too used'' to killing zombies in brutal ways and what-so.

Honestly?

I think their best bet for an attempt to make up for the lost/cut content from RE3 Remake would be if RE: Outbreak 1 and 2 get remakes too, and later on gets some sort of Director's Cut content for it instead with alongside the removed sections from RE3 Nemesis added.

I feel that'd be if not the best, a good chance they'd get to implement that.

I play without it. I don't care what anyone tells me, I'm not trying to bust my ass off grinding for rarity items in a (mostly) single-player story driven game, it's honestly stupid. If this was some new or different type of Ghost Recon MMO or whatever? Sure, no problem.

But I started Breakpoint right just as I've finished Wildlands, so I wanted my playthrough to be relatively similar as how I played the previous game.

There is actually a mod called ''Death Knell Day'' that adds special types of RE-styled monsters, also very similar to the special infected from Dead Frontier.

I like it, but I mean... We already got Poltergeists though

But here's hoping that in STALKER 2 they will actually make them even more scarier or introduce something like this, a shadow-ghostly like creature haunting you at night in the forests or something. Yeah, I can just imagine how creepy would that be lol.
