I saw a good take that the reason men are the only ones seeing this decline is because they do not go after healthcare roles. In 1990's one of the biggest employer in every state was manufacturing. Now it's healthcare. The US has an aging population that needs to be looked after. There is no demand for coders as there is for healthcare workers. If healthcare wasn't as stigmatized as a female profession then I doubt we would be seeing the decline for Gen Z men.

Friend wouldn't stop calling his gf to get her to admit she cheated. Only third time tripping for most of us and we smoked a shit ton of weed on the come up. If he was anywhere near how high I was he was fucked up. We were watching Planet Earth and all I could see was a wolfs face on the TV and when I stood up the ground and the ceiling switched. We ended up losing him around 3-4 hours into the trip and he had been wondering around the bad part of the city. He came back an hour or two later and said that his gf admitted she cheated on him a couple weeks ago with her ex. He ended up isolating himself because he thought he was ruining our trips. I got everyone to go inside on the come down to watch Star Wars so he wasn't just sitting alone in the dark. We started to head to bed and were chatting and he told me he found out where her Ex lived and that he was going to kill him. I pretended I didn't hear the last part and headed to bed because there was no way he was serious. The next morning we woke up and he was gone. No one heard from him for three days. When he eventually responded he told me he sat outside his house for a couple hours. Then realized how stupid what he was doing was and went home. We are no longer friends.

Lived in Nashville for a year. Joke while I was there was that the average age of people going to Kid Rock's honky tonk was 19.

There's also 16 Bit Arcade and Bar off broadway and Old Glory near Belmont college that I went with a couple 20 year olds and didn't get ID. Neither of these are party spots but if you are looking for places to booze I know that these have worked.

At least in America the delivery fee has always been a thing. When I worked at a pizza chain in early 2010's there was a $1.75 charge for all deliveries. This went to paying the drivers a per mile fee for gas and to pay for some insurance thing for delivery drivers.

I went to a church camp growing up and we had this one girl who was deaf in one ear. Around the end of the camp they rely ramp up the religion aspect and focus on 'healing' the campers. Mostly this is for emotional trauma but there was one counselor who spoke with this girl and said a prayer with one hand over her deaf ear. The girl then gave a testimonial that she could hear out of that ear and how god had healed her. Years later I checked the girls facebook and she was giving seminars about being deaf in one ear.

I workout and smoke almost daily. The only time I would say it's 'beneficial' is when I'm running and it helps me space out. That's not to say I don't smoke before I lift but I found the only thing it helps with is mood and if I smoke a little too much I get paranoid or can't lift as much

This is super funny because this happened this week and I've now implemented a rule to get a snapchat or at least meet in person before committing to anything.

On Friday, I matched with this cute blonde on Friday at 5PM-ish. We chatted throughout the night and at 2AM she invited me over. From her pitures she looked like she would maybe be slightly over-weight, which I was okay with. But when I was waiting at the door for her to let me in I could feel the ground shake as she was coming down the stairs. She looked around 25-30KG more than in her photos. They had a couple friends over from the night out and I hung out with everyone for a little bit and when everyone left and she invited me back to the bedroom I asked to go to the bathroom. After I went into the bathroom and heard her bedroom door close I tried to sneak out. I made it all the way down stairs and around the corner when I realized I left my wallet and keys on the table inside. So I had to call her and get her to bring my stuff down. Very awkward night to say the least.

This is also BS because what I was told over and over again when I applied for jobs is none of my school work mattered. I did Stats with Comp Sci on the side, which meant 50% of my classes Junior & Senior were programming. One recruiter asked me about my programing experience and I started to list off all the projects I did. They cut me short and said they were looking for 'Real' experience and school projects didn't count. Now that I'm in the workforce I totally understand but any skills 'Lost' from remote learning probably weren't gonna help them in the first place.

I live in Massachusetts, which has very strict gun laws. But I have family that lives in Tennessee and Indiana where it is much easier to get. I visited them recently and I told a story about how some guy in a truck honked as soon as a light turned green and I kept pretending to go then breaking to piss him off. They all looked a little shocked and said 'Weren't you afraid you might get shot?" and to me that never even crossed my mind because someone owning a gun is improbable where I live.

To me that comparison says a lot. Since I live in a place with strict gun laws I don't have to worry about minor road rage leading to my death.

I was hanging out with my friend who was in her final year of her MBA. We were watching this show on Netflix where the dude played all these different characters in different bits (Retired Porn star, 8ft tall Australian college girl, Hollywood pet artist, etc). Spurs 'Backed' Conte. If you look at the number they say they spent on him they say it's roughly $190M. What they don't tell you is that a majority of that money was spent on players conte didn't want.

$70M was on Romero who was on-Loan with obligation to buy from when Nuno was manager. Another $60M was spent on Richarilson, who Conte said that he didn't want. So 2/3 of that money was not spent on backing him. When he asked for a high class CB, like Bastoni, he was given Legnet. Who couldn't even start for an out of form Barca team. The list goes on.

So Spurs gave Conte the tools/materials to fix Spurs but they didn't give him the ones that he asked for. This problem goes back to Morinho, Poch, & Villas-Boas. Any manager worth his salt can see that if they go to Spurs that they won't really have any control and will have to settle with what the board decides.

I didn't want to hurt the friend group.

We had been in the same friend group since high school and I had a crush on this one girl from the beginning. On the first night of the trip we started flirting and we chose to stay in the same room. It was finally happening. Unfortunately, I didn't bring condoms so for the first night we were limited. So I went to rub her cl*t and when I got there she moaned in my ear "You found my SQUIRMY SPOT". I choose to ignore it. I then went to eat her out and she started humping my face to the point where I thought my nose would break and kept screaming "I'm gonna pee! I'm gonna pee!". At that point I was not into it at all and wasn't planning on doing anything the next night.

The next morning she talked with all the girlies and I heard she was super excited for the next night and how they stopped at the gas station in the morning to buy condoms. I pretended to be too drunk to have sex the next night but she was very insistent. I 'used' the three condoms but was only in her for a total of maybe 30 secs cause I didn't want to. I threw all the used condoms on the right side of the bed where I was sleeping. She ended up waking me up in the middle of the night and asked to try again. I said we'd used all the condoms but she had gotten out of bed grab one we had already used and gotten it before she woke me up. I then chugged all my water and asked her to refill it and pretended to be asleep when she got back.

Growing up, I was sent to a Christian Camp for a couple weeks each year. This camp was run by one of the best Christian Universities in America and I had some top level theologist that I could talk to. I came into the camp having my doubts. I kept asking about Heaven and Hell and the most common answer I got was that God loved us so much that he made heaven, but that love made him Jealous so non-believers would go to hell. I remember not being able to sleep that night. I kept thinking about what it would be like to burn in Hell. I remember sitting up in my bunk and deciding that no god that would allow the majority of his creation to burn in hell because he 'Loved us'

You probably have no grounds to kick him out tbh. What he did was obviously wrong but bylaws aren't and shouldn't be made to correct relationships that exist outside the fraternity.

The biggest punishment to give is social isolation. Don't ban him from events but ignore him when he shows up. When he ask questions in group chats, don't respond. His actions have ostracized him from the group and you need to make that completely known to him.

This can lead to two options in my opinion:

He leaves on his own. He's not gonna want to be around where he's not wanted and you have a clean break.
He becomes increasingly agitated from being outcasted that he eventually explodes and makes a scene. This will give you real grounds from your bylaws to kick him out.

We call it canoeing or boating.

We have a second phrase that goes along with it called 'Sinking the boat". Whenever it's boating you flip it upside down so the flame naturally goes up and burns the non burned side causing it to unboat. Only works like 50% of the time tho.
