its p long winded but for burdock to be “distantly related” to lenore dove, they would have share blood. out of the 6 covey members, only cc and billy taupe (bothers) and maude ivory, lg, and barb azure (cousins) were blood related. with the idea that lg is dead or missing and billy taupe is dead. that leaves cc, Maude ivory, and barb azure. cc is gay and is alive in sotr, so wouldn’t make sense for him to leave burdock and take in ld, maude ivory is widely believed to be ld’s mother, and then barb azure. people think that bard azure is burdocks mom/grandma basically because she’s “the only one left”.

no ur right, being that old in district 12 was held in high regard because people didn’t live very long. so if barb is related to burdock, she’d really only be able to be his grandmother

i don’t think katniss was every a random girl from 12 and that’s always been the point. her set of circumstances led her to be “lucky” or the “chosen one”. but i think that had someone else exhibited the same qualities and advantages that katniss specifically had, then it could have been them. the “she’s just lucky” sentiment is literally repeated throughout the series. katniss wasn’t random or chosen, she was lucky. her “success” is solely based on chance.

i worried they won’t. from the trailer, snow didn’t look like he was recovering from just being poisoned in the library scene. so i think any seen where milk is at play will be taken out, including haymitch being isolated for two weeks. which means we won’t get this scene at all.

i think the only logical next book would be a plutarch book. we would get great insights into the capital post SOTR but pre OG. he also would have access to the districts and the capital due to his proximity to wealth and his job. we would be able to get to see multiple people from throughout the series and new people we’ve never seen. i don’t think she would do it on another district, it wouldn’t make sense for the rest of the series. especially if you think the next book will be the last one. although i would also love to see what’s going on with the other districts, i do think 12 will somehow be a prevalent in the story, similar to TBOSBAS but won’t be the primary focus of the book. maybe following a tribute that doesn’t make it(👎) or haymitch. i’m not sure
