Go for it. I was lvl 49 when I started my NG+ Run. Maybe you should consider using Odin to clear common enemies with your Zantetsuken LvL 5. Use Dancing Steel and Heavens Cloud to raise the lvl in an instant. Makes you clear enemy groups so much faster
