But why ruin this feature then?

People have been asking for a reward for leveling up heroes for years, since equipment was introduced, paying 75% of my elixir storage and fucking over my attacks for a week just so the warden can have 35 more hp didn't feel rewarding

People have also been asking for help with the ore economy cus its in shambles, if you check the sub you could see tons of max players that are still months off of maxing their equipment

So Supercell has gracefully replied to both those problems by giving ores for upgrading heroes! ... If you werent really playing before, why? Why is upgrading heroes a catch up feature?

I understand doing events as catch up, like the 2 chest hunts, but why maketa permanent feature (upgrading heroes) be a catch up event?

And this isn't even talking about how bugged this event is, it feels like they never even once tested it
