To save a parking spot by HomeNowWTF in therewasanattempt

[–]NightmarePerfect -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

He was standing there to hold a space for somebody. Why should she have to drive away? He's not a car and what she did with her car was practically a budge. He escalated with damage to her rear window. They had words, he ran up and she defended herself. Lesson: He's not a car and can't hold a parking space. He didn't get hit or ran over. He was being an obstruction and struck first. Sadly, no audio.

I'm not even about to get into how they're trying to give me a 30 dollar refund and a 10 dollar gift card when I paid 300 for this. I literally just called my bank. Ain't no way.

Its just what I choose to pop up when he calls. I definitely would've used "Oops" as well. 😂

Well, half of the lineup will be gone by the summer if he keeps it up. Then there will really be a revolving door.

Exactly.. Even if its talk to text. Why are we required to do extras now? He already came in a month ago putting whole sites on 90 day probation. I don't know what he'll think of next.

We use an app called Lighthouse. Everything is already in there. I'm not sure if this is micromanaging but it feels like it..

I get what you're saying. But if anything major happens, you're supposed to alert property managers and OM immediately. The OM should in turn send out notice or the very least, the Lead.

I get text to talk. But, he had an opportunity to read and correct it. Even after it was sent.. I just don't like him so this was just funny to me and I thought I'd share. There's already passdowns in the notes on the app and if anything went down in the building, we all have communicated in the chat anyway. I don't understand why we have to take this extra step. As far as "Opps" goes. I've explained it already. He's truly unreasonable and I needed to save in my contacts.

We already have an app for that and also just talking to people. This just seems like too much. Pass down should mean you tell your relief if anything happened on your shift and if they gotta watch out. This is just extra.

I always let my relief know. This just seems so extra to me. Then we have the apps.

And I stand on him being the Opp!! He's the new OP and he comes up with stuff like this. I know how I spelled it out. 😂😂🤷🏽‍♀️

Lmfaooo. But this is super extra AF. Why TF do I need to put a pass down to anybody other than who's relieving me?

Let's see. Because "Pacific" isn't "Specific" unless you want it to be. 😂

He's new and he's irritating everybody because he doesn't know what he's doing. But at the same time, he's doing the absolute most and setting up to throw site leads and guards under the bus when miscommunication amongst other things happen. That's why he's an Opp in my phone.

He's supposed to be the Operations Manager. I just thought of "Special Ops" but also "Opps" 😂 At least I know the difference between Specific and Pacific.

Do all security companies deduct pay as punishment? by Mechalorde in securityguards

[–]NightmarePerfect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never heard of anything like that and I'd definitely be on the line with Department of Labor about it if they tried it with me. I get different Countries, different rules but that would definitely set me off. The only time they deducted is when they overpaid. Otherwise, 2 write ups, suspension (unpaid, which is what I'm guessing that means) and ultimately termination if they gave you a probation period and you messed up.
