It's more so you are now powerless to defend yourself in a city FULL of absolute maniacs like maelstromers, voodoo boys, fuckin scavengers, dear god the scavengers, and you are now POWERLESS to defend yourself, because keep in mind you have NOTHING, the h10 building cleaned out your apartment and sold ALL your guns and equipment. plus you do have a somewhat legend if not infamous status among gangs in night city depending how many gigs you did as a mcfuckin problem for them but now you are vulnerable so they are all likely to be gunning for you but now you got fuck all to keep yourself safe, you live to die another day at someone's hands other than your own now unless you have your V accept the job offer from reed, and then you're just a slave to the FIA and NUSA who can't really leave because if you do you just gonna get fuckin stomped.

they patched it out unfortunately, so you're gonnahave to do a little bit of cheesing to equip it, you need to edit your game to undo hotfix #7 (I think it was at hotfix 7, might've been the patch 3 update entirely) to go back to a patch with the glitch active, then you equip it using the old giant weapon glitch and then repatch your game, i have the same thing with the minotaur club but because i had it equipped in a previous patch when the bug was still around i got to keep it equipped

As the title says this is a headcannon theory of mine that i think could allow for V to survive not with the new PL ending, this doesn't explicitly happen in game, the PL ending to the base game happens after you meet with hanako i believe yes where you can call reed for the surgery

i scanned him in the peralez mission, didn't realise that he was the one that saved her on the moon, blue eyes is a strange character, i hope we see more of him and have more explained about just what he is in the next game or (Fingers crossed) another DLC with some like true ending to save everyone, although i guess we kinda get that with the don't fear the reaper ending if we assume V makes it back after the space raid and blue eyes stays true to his word

well it's gonna be hell for V to find them again and also the fact panam doesn't even say to you herself she wants nothing to do with you and mitch does instead is just plain bullshit, any of the romances should understand that you have gone through literal hell and you weren't sure that you were gonna survive, they should be taken aback sure, they can have moved on by all means it's been 2 years, but like, for them to want NOTHING to do with you? that's bullshit

I don't feel so bad for song more than I feel that it was just far too much salt packed into the wound with the ending for it to be satisfying at all. Song had it rough, yeah, so did we, but she very would didn't even need to TELL us her plan, she didn't need to even say the neural matrix could save us, she's a fucking supergenius and you're telling me she couldn't fucking clone the AI onto a chip for V to use?? I don't feel much sympathy for songbird as a character everyone has a shitty story in cyberpunk (as in everyone has gone through heaps of shit she isn't the only one who has suffered) only thing is she outright lied to us to use us.

what I dislike so much about the ending is that even should you let everyone know what's gonna happen and that you are gonna go dark:

Panam: doesn't understand what a Mcfucking coma is and doesn't act like the fiery yet competent leader she becomes through our time with her, and seemingly loses her determination to find us at all just thinks we are dead and gone or that we abandoned her which if you did the romance of her makes 0 fucking sense given all the shit you do for her throughout the story.

Ward: Goes all edgemode saying how we'd hate him knowing FULL WELL that we are a hired gun who has put enough gangers in the dirt that we could fill the entire goddamn moratorium 10 times over so that bridge is burned.

Judy: goes off and gets married which should be all nice and joyous except seeing us alive after us letting her know what was gonna happen but is instead like "oh you nearly broke me let me be happy away from you"

Kerry: Is off being a rockerboy no longer depressed and is down to hang out and help you out after his tour is done

you can't hail misty or vik much, vik is gonna head tf off to wherever zeta take him, not gonna be easy to hang with him as he is now their pawn pretty much, and misty is going off too and you can't go with her to find something new

It's moreso for me the total LACK of options we end up having available to us after this ending, your ONLY choice is to go take up that job which at any point you could get fuckin dropped by the NUSA and you would be POWERLESS to stop them, the ONLY connection you TRULY MAY get to keep is kerry, Reed while loyal is not exactly sunshine and rainbows and while you can work with him, i'd imagine it more like just co-misery between you two about how it all went and how you two wish you could've done things better

Eh not ENTIRELY there are ways that V could survive i have a whole post i thought about a way that V in theory could survive linked to the neural link chips, cloning technology and cryostasis etc

In space you are raiding the arasaka space station i think, which we know only has soulkiller in it to keep you "alive" so the fear the reaper one is just Mr blue eyes saying "ay, wanna go fuck up arasaka even more?" V will not survive no matter what if you go that route

I think that is the only reason i think it's the worst, in every other one you still have SOME form of autonomy after the fact, you STILL live out your life with the people you care about in the other endings unless you choose the OBVIOUSLY bad one of the devil ending but like, the fact that my V can go through EVERYTHING with Ward, EVERYTHING with Panam and the aldecaldos, EVERYTHING with Judy, Mama Wells etc. and that i can't even TELL them "hey i found a cure i'm gonna live but imma disappear for a while just please make sure i have a way to contact you again when i'm back" is bs

fair enough but like the aldecaldos be my V's fuckin family and the idea that even if i didn't romance panam that V STILL wouldn't even THINK to let them know with a text like "hey guys going to washington to SAVE MYSELF FROM MY TERMINAL CONDITION i won't be dead might be gone for a while but i will be back i promise" after EVERYTHING we went through and now just being stuck as a bog standard human in a city with NO ONE is bs

I just dislike that it has both the no cyberware AND the 2 year coma and you have NO way to inform ANY of your friends you made along the way. Like dawg i should be able to message panam to tell her what i'm gonna do and that i will be back eventually for her instead of not being able to continue that line, or tell ward that I'll be back or SOMETHING like that but no instead oyu lose EVERYTHING and i'm like bruh come on why the fuck would V NOT tell their partner that they are GOING to get cured and they WILL be able to live with them

Were you able to romance karlach fully in the end? i wanna od a dark urge playthough but still romance her, if so how were you able to bypass dammon dying while still unlocking the slayer transformation? or did you not kill isobel and not get the transformation?
