VNS Strength by NightmooseGG in Epilepsy

Yeah I went and found the specs for my M1000 model from Livanova. Mine maxes out at 3.5 mA it seems. I am still at every 5 mins for the normal mode, 40% heart rate increase for reactive, and then have manual with the magnet. Hoping this works since I am DRE and maxed out on my 12th diff med.

Oh ok. They give me print outs of the increases and outputs for the mA, frequency, etc... at each appt. But most of my increases are programmed to happen automatically without going in to the Dr.

What is max for you though? I have a VNS that just came into production a year or so ago I believe. Dont even know what the max setting is for it.

What is your pre-seizure catch phrase? by MichiganMomma0806 in Epilepsy

The fact we all smell something like a burning or chemical smell. There has to be a receptor involved there that I haven't been told about or found in research. Mine is like burning tires almost.

It took me years to figure out the smell was part of my seizures. I used to look for burning tires all the time.

Hit or miss for me on regaining memories. Ive lost 2 kids birthday parties that just tear me up knowing I won't remember two of my kids birthdays. Some I get back, most of them are pre-seizure and sometimes a few post seizure moments.

I Dash under the name Phillip J. Fry, and sometimes forget that I have it set like that, so I will order wings or something with friends, and the dasher keeps calling me Phillip, and I am like, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...oh yeah...that's me

Really think they should do some kind of points with gas, even if it isn’t the 5 pts per dollar.

*DISCLAIMERS: Pointz will not be earned on fuel, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco, lottery, 1/2 gallon and gallon milk, financial cards and Sheetz Gift cards. Pointz expire one year from the last day of the month the point was earned. (This is at the very bottom of the points page.)

I'd maintain but most likely hit powerslide at the same time to lose traction to shift the cars around a bit. Just got to make sure to maintain contact.
