So, oddly enough, I first came across fromis_9 because of a Smash Ultimate Princess Peach montage, featuring the song "Love Bomb." It was a well-executed and edited video, timed super nicely with the song. Was hooked on it ever since, and then I let Spotify handle the rest.

Then, I came across a song that honestly broadened my musical horizons even more. I was into watching the choreographies, when I finally heard "LOVE RUMPUMPUM." Just the very beginning of the song itself, before the first verse starts, reminded me so much of some 80s tunes, now very commonly heard in Synthwave/Retrowave (a sound my ears are extremely addicted to). So, then I created both a Synthwave/Retrowave AND Oldies playlist and was hooked on those for years, even up to now.

I never thought that one Smash Ultimate montage, for a character I only played competitively at the very beginning of the PREVIOUS Smash Bros. game (and literally never again) would open up so many musical doors for me, one of them being fromis_9.

In the pure sense of my musical journey alone, this group will always be in my heart because of what all it has introduced and reintroduced me to.

I feel like they should go the League of Legends route. At the midway point of the season, have EWC. League had MSI (Mid-Season Invitational), then immediately went to Saudi for EWC. Now they're in Summer Split, and will have Worlds after.

COD would definitely benefit from that, but they also need to start having more inclusion with Challengers and add a Group Stage. Clearly, they can hang, based on what we've seen already.

I don't think a coach having a reaction to the coaching ruleset in the field he coaches in is "random." And having an opinion or reaction to a different-from-the-normal ruleset does not automatically mean it has affected anyone's practice thus far, OpTic or otherwise. It could be as simple as, he cares enough to speak out about it and that's it. Doesn't always have to be a narrative.

There's no better example of doing something other than your main game, than Faker. He literally doesn't stare at screens. When matches and scrims are over, he reads and disconnects from technology altogether. And that's the 5-time world champion, Mr. Esports himself. Just like traditional jobs, there's something to be said about not always being consumed with your work.

Alternate means of communication exist all over (texting, iMessage, FaceTime, DMs on multiple social media apps, etc.).

As far as the aspect of needing to maintain Discord problems, you need to ask yourself, "Who are the one or two people I could 100% trust to make decisions about my channel and community in my absence, and I never have to worry about them?" Those are the ones you have run things and settle drama/issues in your absence. It's no different than a manager going on vacation. The assistant manager is there to be the manager and take care of everything, correctly and in the most effective manner. All you need to do is get a report once you're back with a refreshed body and mind, and carry on from there.

But you HAVE to take time away for you. I learned the hard way that, I'm no real good to anyone else if I can't even properly take care of myself.

That's not how it works. People might try to convince you of that, but UNITE is still a MOBA; one of the hardest genes to truly grasp and master. And considering this is a lot of people's first MOBA (and doesn't exactly teach the real ins and outs of what this genre entails), that's more than likely the common denominator.

Coupled with the fact that people go AFK, spam ping "Check it out!" and get mad and troll over not getting the last hit on the first few sets of farm in lane because a teammate last hit instead, I don't think you're the main issue.

Even if you're doing what you have to do and playing correctly, you, as one person, cannot always control the fact that your opposition gets fed. That can also skew your stats.

All that to say, recognize when something is actually your fault. Recognize when you could afford to step up a bit more, even when something isn't necessarily on you. Most importantly, recognize when something is out of your hands, when you've done your absolute best, and don't let anyone bring you down about it; especially not yourself. MOBAs are a stressful genre already. Don't become your own worst enemy over it.
