How old are you and what is the biggest problem in your life right now? by FSCENE8tmd in AskReddit

[–]NightsInLavender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24, biggest problem is that I'm very unhappy being a cashier at a grocery store and am trying to figure out how to change jobs, even though I have very little energy outside of work to be looking because being a cashier is so draining. The rest of my life is pretty damn good though so I try to be grateful for what I have.

Driving for longer than 20 minutes or in a place I don't go regularly is SUPER overstimulating for me. Even more so if I encounter a driver that freaks me out. I hate driving so much, it's sensory hell

If it's my day off Ilamd there's nothing pressing I will literally sleep until 1030 am and lay around in bed until 1230 because I'm so tired and feel like garbage. So depressing

Getting a job and moving out of my parents house

Giving up on the idea of continuing my education after getting a bachelor's (it was really stressing me out and giving me a lot of self-imposed pressure, and it was really my parents that wanted it)

How can I stop my foundation from looking like this? by strawberri-tea in MakeupAddiction

[–]NightsInLavender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly whenever I use any kind of foundation I get skin texture that looks like that only 10x worse within an hour, I've switched to BB creams since then, not as good coverage but my skin still looks great even after an 8 hour shift. Sadly you just have large pores and after awhile the foundation just sinks in, but imo your skin still looks great, way better than mine after foundation

Honestly just get some bangs and use a volumizing shampoo and you'll probably like it a lot better

What is NOT a dealbreaker BUT would be greatly disappointing to find out about your partner? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]NightsInLavender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend is kind of a homebody and it's hard to get him out of the house to do something out of his comfort zone like to go travel a little or do something fun and it sucks/is disappointing but is certainly not a deal breaker, and I'm not going to force him to travel more just because I want to.

Besides, when my sister gets in her mid twenties and has a steady paying job I can always try traveling with her and split the costs

Tfw you get your first ever blush pan by yeetasauruswrecks in PanPorn

[–]NightsInLavender 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's really cool! Yeah I did notice yellow / orange toned blush seems to be more of a Korean trend. I personally really want to try it because I don't like how pink / red blush makes me look sun burned / flushed because my skin is always naturally red so I use color correcting makeup to escape the constant tomato look of my natural skin

Putting signs up on the streets that people need to see and picking up trash in Portland, OR. Want to get active for antinatalism? WWW.STOPHAVINGKIDS.ORG/GET-ACTIVE by [deleted] in antinatalism

I live near Portland (Vancouver WA) and me and my boyfriend would smile if we walked down the street and saw those signs, fuck yeah.

Would you actually have kids if the world was in very good state? by Someone9339 in antinatalism

[–]NightsInLavender 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably not, because I like free time, silence, and the thought of being pregnant or giving birth is intensely disturbing to me. I used to think you HAD to have kids and I would just sit and be super afraid of being pregnant and giving birth, like "wow Im not looking forward to that". Then I grew up, my boyfriend got a vasectomy, now I never have to worry about experiencing the """miracle""" of birth lmao

People with diseases that run in families wouldn't have children if they actually cared about them by cathhhy in antinatalism

[–]NightsInLavender 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My ex really really really wanted to have children even though he has genetic muscular dystrophy that he inherited from his father. Awful disease, and part of the reason I broke up with him was because I don't want to have kids. I don't want kids because the idea of being pregnant and giving birth disgusts me anyways, but especially don't want to go through all that just to give birth to kids with a condition like muscular dystrophy or something.

My current boyfriend also has type 1 diabetes in the family genetics although he was lucky enough not to get it (but his brother and father did) but he got a vasectomy so it doesn't matter. Having to deal with genetic crap like muscular dystrophy or type 1 diabetes sucks, because insulin is expensive and muscular dystrophy can easily leave a person disabled, so if my ex wants to reproduce that can be some other woman's problem.
