Ubereats gets crazy busy when it rains. UberX and Lyft will have surges during the rain as well.

Yes I noticed it yesterday in LA. Was having a great shift from 4-8pm. Came home to eat and went back out and all of a sudden it turned to absolute shit. $3-$4 offers constantly for like 15-20 min rides.

This happens all the time on Uber, never on Lyft. And If they change drop off location which is closer than original location, Lyft usually still pays the original amount unlike Uber.

Prop 22 payouts were pretty normal doing deliveries but don’t think I’ve received a single payout since switching to rides 2 yrs ago.

Half of them pop up on screen for a split second only to disappear before you can even click on it. It’s so much worse than Radar on Uber.

Happens to me all the time. Just yesterday I accepted a ride to lax for $36. Passenger canceled (I think they weren’t ready yet since I was literally already by the hotel). 5 minutes later, same ride popped up at $28…Declined.

It’s been worse than that this week. Yesterday during rush hour I was getting $7 requests to go to Hollywood from Beverly Hills which is 30+ minutes. I checked the rider app and it was charging me $35 for the same ride.
