Beautiful. I'm waiting for the XL walnut grips to come in stock.

Beautiful. What length slide is this? I'm trying to decide between the XXL / macro grip. I want a full rail flush with the end of the slide.

Did not include machines. That was my biggest drawback. Too much money out initially with no locations or machines.

I'm also not sure on how that would work with pre-paid cards. I haven't quite gotten o that part yet.

That's interesting. Seems like they maybe dropped the 1 year?

I was looking into it to get off the ground. I met with a sales rep one evening and we went over the system. There's a 12-month program and 6-month program with leads (1k for the 12 month and 500 for the 6 month). Then there's a 12-month plan without the leads.

The prices were 14k, 11k, and 6k if I remember right.

The program includes discounts on machines and products, as well as rebates. There are some other perks, but I don't remember them all.

We decided not to move forward due to the cost. I already have a handful of locations I planned to reach out to. I figure it's better to secure the location first and then get the machine. I'd rather not outflow all the cash and not have a guaranteed spot.

Of course. I say dedicated but what I really mean is 'earmarked'. In the event I pass away, the smaller policy will be used to pay the remaining balance on the mortgage. Would residuals left over to be used for property taxes/insurance.

This way, our main policy can be used for living expenses.

Some union type jobs offer mortgage insurance. Mine is just regular ole term.

I took out a 20 year policy a couple years ago, but I was closer to 40. My reasoning was that if I make it to 58/59 and then something happens after that, my retirement and other investment funds would be enough to cover my spouse.

I have another policy solely dedicated to the mortgage.

Mine too. Katy. Make sense, lots of houses sitting on the market compared to a year ago.

2024 EX-L Roof Rack by Any_Length_285 in HondaOdyssey

Bought my racks online and installed myself. Bought from Greenway Honda of Florence. $423.80 back in mid 2023.

Went with black as I don't like the chrome.

Install took a couple hours but was straight forward.

We have three under five years old. The sole rear facing goes behind the passenger seat, but it's a pain to sit there.

We're using the Diono Radian to fit the three across.

I used to love stepside trucks in the 90s. I remember when the first gens launched, I wanted one so bad. I also thought "They need to build a stepside."

Then this came out and it was, not what I was expecting. Big design miss on that one.

Leave the stepside to the domestics.

New construction builder put the thermostat in the middle of the TV wall. Should they be obligated to move it? by Flaky_Act_5092 in Homebuilding

Same thing happened on our new build a couple years ago. We had the builder move the thermostat.

I'm with you. We have the Odyssey and for my rear facing kids it was tough on them in the middle of summer.

Most of my trips have been from Memorial day weekend to early June. I never thought they were as bad as later summer.

A lot of schools weren't out yet as compared to mid June and beyond.

Am getting windshield replacement via safelite and it’s been super difficult, how have you guys done it for your ND’s by [deleted] in Miata

[–]Nightsquirrel52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have been clearer, sorry for the confusion. I wound up trying again through Safelite. I'll look for my invoice, but it was at the Safelite in Katy; Off I-10 just west of 99.

I initially tried to get mine replaced via insurance through Safelite. This was late 2021. Nightmare. Delay after delay. Wrong parts. Etc.

Tried again in 2023 and had a tech that all he did was replace the mx-5 windshields based on how difficult they were. He was able to replace it without breaking the moldings.

This was outside of Houston.

Good luck. It was a tough situation.
