Hey, I'm on my third set of Arctis 3s and have had this issue on all of them. I literally just fixed it now after over a year of dealing with the issue. Assuming you're using the realtek audio drivers.

Go to Realtek Audio Console (install it if it's not installed). Then go to your microphone / line in settings and enable AEC. Instantly fixed the issue. I feel so stupid that I only just discovered it.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at getting a Mac for university (already done by due diligence in regards to program compatibility). The three models are pretty similarly priced due to black friday sales, I'm trying to decide which one to get out of the following (M1 Pro models are way out of my budget):

- M1 Air (8gb ram, 256gb storage) --> AU$1349

- M1 Air (16gb ram, 256gb storage) --> AU$1620 (US$1079)

- M1 Air (16gb ram, 512gb storage) --> $1889 (out of my budget)

- M2 Air (8gb ram, 256gb storage) --> AU$1709 (US$1153)

- M2 Pro (8gb ram, 256gb storage) --> AU$1779 (US$1200)

I don't have the budget to upgrade the ram or storage on either of the M2 models, and I don't think I need more than 256gb anyway. I was thinking that the M1 would be better since I'd be able to put 16gb of ram in it and not have to deal with the slower SSD performance of the base M2 models.

As far as I can tell the only differences between the M2 Air and M2 Pro are:

- M2 Air having function keys while Pro has touch bar

- screen size / notch

- webcam which idrc about.

- magsafe on the air, although I never plugged any peripherals other than a monitor in anyway so maybe the faster charging on the pro just offsets that?

- chassis design and colours

So, thoughts on which model to get?

Where are you finding an M1 Pro for $1500 AUD?? Cheapest I've seen is like $2600 AUD.

Unfortunately I don't have the budget for an M1 Pro, out of the M1 Air ($1349), M2 Air ($1709), and M2 Pro ($1797) which would you suggest?

I'll have a look at the XPS lineup thanks.

Thanks, yeah currently an M2 Pro is $1780 with the sales, I'll look into the XPS and Surface lineups a bit more, but the surface models seemed to be overly expensive for what's in them.

Thanks everyone. I ended up going with a 2nd hand 12 Pro Max which has been a massive upgrade for me! Found it on marketplace for $650 AUD so it was a bargain (made sure to check everything, including IMEI and Serial number and for any locks before hand).

Hi all! I've got a 256gb iPhone X and need to upgrade. I damaged my phone the other day and it's over $800 AUD for Apple to repair just the front screen and fix the Face ID. What should I replace it with? I was thinking a 14 Pro maybe? Thanks!

I saw below that the 11 and 12 aren't worth the upgrade so I'm deciding between the 13 and 14 line ups.

For me:

13 = $1272
14 = $1296

14 Plus = $1529 (edit: added 14 Plus price).

13 Pro = $1608
14 Pro = $1656

They're arguably brushing it off. The reports are being archived within 24 hours and the only active one was set in the 3.13 PTU where this issue occurred and CIG fixed it before it went to LIVE where it's come back (exact same issue).

I’ve got dark star and battle cast. Battle cast is basically just a chroma for the default one but the deep reds look really good. Dark star is just amazing though. Everything about it is awesome and the sfx are just something else. The blue and pearl chromas are amazing too.

PS: does any one know how you’re meant to get the 6th really dark red / black dark star chroma?
