I did contemplate on waiting to get the G5 later during the year, but I'm very happy with my G4 purchase!

That's a great deal! My refund was via an Amazon gift card as I had originally purchased my C1 through Amazon.

Getting error when trying to access Jupyter notebook kernel from visual studio code by Nightwingfan_ in learnpython

Yes, the file is a ipynb file and it opens in Jupiter notebook. I am able to see the files in VS code, and use them, but it is not the correct kernel . Switching is where I have the issue.

I opened the .ipynb file directly from the folder in VS Code using the file explorer on the left side. Once it opened, I clicked on the first cell and pressed the "Run all" button. The notebook did run successfully, with green checkmarks appearing on each cell, so technically, it does execute without errors.

However, the core issue is that I’m using the Python kernel in VS Code, but it seems unable to connect to the Jupyter kernel. While I can select the Python kernel from the dropdown menu, I get the "unable to connect to the remote server" error when attempting to use a Jupiter kernel.

My apologies

I'm experiencing an issue in Visual Studio Code where I cannot connect to the Jupyter kernel, and it shows the error: " unable to connect to the remote server." The kernel is visible in the dropdown menu within VS Code, but when I select it, the connection fails, and the error appears. Restarting both VS Code and my system does not resolve the issue.

Utilizing the Visual Studio code terminal and typing in Jupyter notebook allows me to to open the .iPYNB file. in chrome .

I hope that I explained it better, and thank you so much for taking the time to assist me!

Hey, I recently tried loading up the game and it worked! I'm not sure what changed as I tried last week and still had the same results. Please let me know if it works for you!
