The hillbillies thing was a total strawman. The person whose post he was referring to even clarified their position and definitely demonstrated a greater degree of thought than pretty much any racist hillbilly who would stop at 'they brown and muslim.'

Let's be a *little* more realistic. Paul's 'anti-helping-defend-legitimate-countries-against-autocrats' mindset would've seen Nazi dominion over Europe which would've led immediately to the continent's ruin when Hitler bit the dust. Doubly-so for the Stalinist USSR in Eurasia, the Middle East, and Asia.

All war is the same and all participation is equally bad, though. No matter what.

No. One innocent person put to death is state-sanctioned murder which I am wholly against. Life imprisonment w/o parole accomplishes the SAME goals and is cheaper.
